New Haven Hotel I’ve stayed with multiple times due to surgeries at Yale. They were always helpful and very accommodating. Only one visit did I have to yell at the front desk as it was late and post operation recovery where kids were running the halls and jiggling door handles. This made me highly uncomfortable due to my inability to move quickly if needed. Other than that, I wish the hotel had food on site. There are several restaurants behind the hotel that are good but the area is a little sketchy in my opinion so I didn’t feel super safe doing so if I arrived late. The staff is helpful and friendly. While I hope to not have to come back for medical reasons, if I had to I would stay here. The staff always helped and provided accommodation requests I had to make my surgery stay easier: thank you!

The places was very nice. The hotel Woman at the front desk checking in. I believe her name was Stephanie? She was outgoing and very friendly and helpful. If I ever come back for another event at Yale U. There’s no doubt I’m staying here again. The convenance this hotel has for its guests is truly exceptional. The walkway from the garage to the entry into the hotel is truly a great accommodation. It’s safe and you must have your room card to enter the hotel. I had a single room king size bed besides a few little things on the floor it was very clean. If you’re ever in Connecticut or visiting Yale U. It’s only a hop skip & jump away. Very nice place!

The whole hotel was hot without air conditioning and the front desk staff know it about the problem they should tell us before we reserve the room, we can’t stay the whole night by 2 am we leave the hotel and drive to our destination

The New Haven Hotel exceeded my expectations. The front entrance was off street so I could drive up and unload. The reception area was very spacious and included a large lounge; the front desk staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful; and the room was clean, attractive , and comfortable. I slept soundly, departed early, to catch a train to NYC, which is a walk away. Next time I’ll arrange a ride from the hotel to the train station for expedience.

My parents had a wonderful stay at the New Haven, unfortunately the restaurant was closed but it’s in an awesome location in the middle of lots of dining options. There is a nightclub close by, so depending on where your room is you may hear the music at night. The customer service was amazing, Zihima (sp?) was super sweet and accommodating.

Diahema from the front desk was wonderful! Even if she was the only one at the desk during check-in and there was a steady stream of guests checking-in, she remained cordial, professional and processed guest check-ins in a timely manner. She was delightful to work with.

Disliked the way the TV operated and also that the wifi was day to day instead of the entire stay. Also one day no housekeeping and the day we got housekeeping they emptied the trash and changed the towels but didn’t make the bed.
