This is an excellent place to stay for the $s. Not too expensive and very large room well appointed with a separate seating area. Thai restaurant 10 steps from front door. Will return whenever we’re in the area.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Took was very spacious and elegantly decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Very nice room, very big and quiet. Nice selection for breakfast. Very happy with our stay and will return. Free ice bags was a very nice thing to find, appreciated when we checked out with refrigerated items.

Everything was good, but initial charge and actual charge was very different. Trying to get someone to talk to at the property regarding a refund but no one answers the phone.

We enjoyed our Executive King Room. Love the water view. The property was cozy and had historic Charm. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We will atay here again.

It’s an interesting property. Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious & clean, staff very nice. If you are looking for new, modern feel - this is not the right place for you. That said, we stayed for 3 nights and will likely return in the future.

This hotel is older but very clean and quiet. The breakfast is just cold stuff and cereal, nothing special. We really enjoyed all the walking trails.

This is an older hotel and may be overlooked if judged by the exterior. The inside was spotless from the lobby, hallways and room. Very friendly staff and being away from major traffic the room was very quiet. We will stay again when in the area.

In 30 years of travelling around the States this stay was one of if not the most bizarre! Nuks (an abbreviation of the name of its Thai owner) promised a lot but failed to live to what the reviews had mentioned. The property is an old building sitting on top of the River Fox adjacent to a river lock. Stunning views but nothing else to commend it. I was assigned room 308 which was roomy but bereft of any intelligent furniture. Nothing to place two suitcases, a microwave plonked on top of a wooden desk. It was as if I had walked into a 19th Century time warp. The bathroom was a disaster but the excellent Skyla changed it to 305. This was no better with sash windows jammed and a musty bohemian feel. The breakfast was ‘grab and go’ with nothing to write home about. All I wanted was to take some boiling water from the heater for tea each night and Skyla told me unequivocally that I could use it anytime. One afternoon I stepped into the breakfast room and a very sharp rude female almost concentration camp like voice abruptly put the alarm on and told me to leave the room. She got into a slanting match with me! I went to front desk and a young man appeared. Given the NUKS car plate lack Lamborghini he was driving badly each day I guessed he may be a relative of the owner. No apology, he laughed off the incident that offended me bitterly. I guess the owner has become affluent through the good will of her customers but this is no way to treat some like me. Not recommended.
