Ocean Beach Club Hotel

Great hotel that came through for me in a pinch.

Staff was polite and courteous

Just needed one night of stay it was ok. Headed for a cruise the next day so really no issues, the only thing i would say is if you are going out that night or in the day traffic to get to all of the beachfront restaurants is terrible. My wife and i did a little calculation our cruise was leaving out of Miami we stayed in Ft Lauderdale because thats where we could get a cheaper flight to then we would uber to Miami. We spent more money for Uber going back and forth so the next time we would spend that extra money to stay at hotel that's probably more expensive to save money on Uber's because where we were located was a little was off and we were definitely not walking that we tried but we took another Uber.

Stayed in late February, the pool was suppose to be heated and didn’t feel it. No good access to beach. Staff was kind. Easy check in.

The pool was a nice hidden little oasis and the cabanas were comfy!

I had a problems with the air conditioner venting System. The first room made me sick. Maintenance fixed the a/c because it was hot in the room. I woke up sick coughing and my nose was running . As soon as I left the room all my symptoms stopped. It was cause by mold and dust in the . I requested another room. The manager reluctantly gave me another room. The same thing happened with the next room they gave me. I was disappointed and got a refund for 3 day but I had to find another place stay

Hotel is average. Definitely hasnt been updated. Hallways are musty and smelled of urine at one point. Security is way over the top- just overall doing too much, this is not a bad area and him running around behind guests as they walk out the door is too much IMO. Also, TV was absolutely terrible quality. Im here on vaca so not watching much but the picture is like a tv from the 90s- staticy. Pool is a small area but its nice. Chairs to lay out and little cabanas, not sure if you have to pay to use or not.

While staying there, we barely received any room service, our trash wasn’t even taken out until the night before we left, that was very unprofessional! It was overall a below average stay, their staff needs to be more engaged and friendly. I also did not like the fact that my card was placed on hold for $50 per night, which was a total of $150. I have never experienced that kind of behavior before, normally hotels just place a hold of $50 just in case. Mind you, this was after I paid the deposit the night before arriving and the rest in cash on the day we checked in, that was very unpleasant and unusual!!! I would not recommend staying there, there are however many options to go for food, because of where it’s located, also the neighboring hotels seem very nice, will definitely visit the area again just not staying at this hotel!!!

Hotel is under renovations. It was in a nice area. Staff seemed bothered by us arriving. Wasn’t a warm and friendly greeting.

No food on site to purchase. Bathroom very dark and no hand rails. Coffee or tea not available as an amenity. A dated property. Room small for two occupants.location very nice since near path to ocean. Breakfast places walkable.

The towels and blankets wasn’t washed properly and the rooms needs to be updated

It just felt gross and old. I trusted the rating on Expedia. I’ll never do that again. I feel ripped off for how much I was charged for this shabby motel.
