They were very accommodating and tagged my bags and stored them because I got there early. I purchased carpet fresh for my room and sprinkled on my carpet. I requested they vacuum and they had no problem with my request. Housekeeping also made a nice decoration on my bed when I asked for extra towels. I had a problem the the hook on my window curtains and the manger sent maintenance personnel right away.
They have two pools, one is tucked away if you like a little more privacy, the other is in front of the rooms. Its more of a motel style, but its a great affordable option that's across the street. The public access is about a 15 to 20 minute walk or 5 to ten minute drive going towards the left when you leave the property. I walked across the street through the McDonald's parking lot and accessed the beach through the Tiki bar that's at the rear of Ocean Manor.
Ocean Palace was a wonderful place for a solo trip for me to stay. Thanks to the staff for making it enjoyable.

The floor in my room was quite dirty- staff responded quickly and cleaned the floor. The room smelled a bit musty. Front desk does not have enough help- wait time was quite long- sign in was slow. grounds were well kept.

The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures. It seems more like a motel. When we arrive the elevator wasn’t working. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to move us to the 1st floor. When booking the hotel it states that you can pay when you arrive and that using your card is just to book. But after putting in the card information it took money off. It paid for one night stay whiles booking.

For the three days that I spent there, no body had cleaned the room. When I finally called them, a day before I left, a housekeeper came and said that they will clean it once I leave. Never heard that one before.
