Location is great. Rooms are spacious. AC works. There is a refer and a microwave. Second sink is great. Beds were a little too soft from over use. Bathroom tub is very old, stained and pitted. Shower head is clogged with calcium buildup and shower stream extremely weak. The breakfast coupons were outstanding.

Good -The place is convenient for a stay as it is in the center of Honolulu. Walkable to Walmart, Ala Moana and the Catholic Church. It is near to Waikiki beach.
Deficient - The room carpet needs a deep clean (bad odour), windows needs cleaning from outside (for clear vision of the surrounding) and lastly to have a more set of cooking utensils

The building appears run down. I lived in Hawaii in the 80’s. The garden and the building’s exterior were immaculate back then.
Currently, the Sorabol sign is too big and is an eyesore.
The interior hallways are dark and creepy. The rooms were neat but the bathroom cabinetry and tub are worn out. The window was dirty. I’m sorry for the negative comments but I used to dine there with my family and have returned for sentimental reasons but those attributes are no longer apparent.
