Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

We have been here multiple time and we love this hotel, the staff is nice and friendly, the food is good, the rooms are clean and have plenty of space The hotel is close to many restaurants in the area, the small lazy river in the pool area is great for kids. I recommend this hotel.

High dollar with everything extra, restaurant stupid expensive plus a 22% surcharge on top of meal cost. View was fantastic, was nice that at least beach chairs were included.

We returned to the Pelican Grand for a family trip with friends, and once again, everything was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The beach feels like paradise: crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and that unbeatable Fort Lauderdale sunshine. Ocean2000 continues to impress us with its delicious food, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast by the ocean or cocktails at sunset, every meal felt special. This place never disappoints. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and luxury. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Lazy river was great along with the pool and great beach access. GG the lady server that brings you food and drinks at the pool was one of the nicest and kindest people I’ve ever met at a hotel. She truly deserves a big raise. If GG isn’t making a little less than the manager then the management doesn’t know how to manage. GG literally went out of her way to try to make your pool day unforgettable. The only place I would ever be staying at when I return to Fort Lauderdale would be Pelican and reason being is the staff.

Marcus the bell hop was above and beyond. He was INCREDIBLE and made our stay even better we couldn’t stop talking about his service.

The resort needs updating. The only thing that’s "upscale" are the prices! Advertising is deceptive. We booked a room with a king bed, ocean view, and balcony. When we checked in we were told that our room only had a partial ocean view and we would need to upgrade for $50 more per night to get an actual ocean view, which we reluctantly did. There are a myriad of extra fees for everything and the 22% "hospitality fee" on food and drink was pretty much hidden in fine print. Balcony doors don't close unless they are forced and banged, which we were also hearing from other rooms. There is also black mold on the wall and overhead of the balcony. The barn door on the bathroom is ridiculous and doesn't stay shut. We were only allowed 2 bottles of water for the entire stay, not each day as told by housekeeping. After that, it's $4 each! The entire place is overrun by iguanas and their crap was all over the walls of the lazy river. At 6PM all of the beach furniture is put away and the beach staff are done for the day. There was so much trash on the beach left by inconsiderate people while still daylight and after the staff were done for the evening, that I actually went down and cleaned it all up to prevent all of the plastic from making it's way into the water. Internet connectivity is nearly nonexistent unless using the resort's "free WIFI". The problem is that it's not secured and I'm not willing to risk my personal and professional info. The rooms were nicely appointed. The location on the beach was great. The lazy river was nice for very small children. The room was not in the best repair. The TVs are rigged to not allow streaming. Housekeeping is inconsistent.

Sweet place!

Great location walk out to the beach . Great porch with rocking chairs also right on the beach. All the staff is very very helpful and friendly and accommodating. Food is average and the service from ordering to eating is SLOW. 22% service charge slapped on every order so even if you order one drink and walk away from the bar you are going to get charged 22%. I like to determine the tip for my service but they do not give you an option. You can Uber to many bars and restaurants in about 10 minutes for $6 to $ 15 dollars so we ate one meal at the resort and then ate elsewhere for the 5 days we were there. The beach is awesome. Private and not crowded.

Just amazing! We enjoyed every single minute - beautiful property and perfect location. Beach is wonderful - and the beach service was such a treat. Would love to return!

Pool was nice, outside is outdated, hotel beach and pool towels are rags, 22% gratuity on everything, valet was the best, housekeeping didn’t come til 5 in the afternoon when we were getting ready for dinner so we didn’t get any service, $55/night for parking is absurd.

This was our second time staying in this property and we would stay here every time! It’s clean it’s comfortable. The service is great. You cannot beat the view. We love it here! Only thing is try not to get a room by the elevators. It’s super loud.

Terrible

My 19-year-old daughter and I stayed here for three nights. We got here early because of an early flight and we were able to check in right after we ate lunch on the property. The food and service was excellent throughout our stay. There are electric bikes right outside and we used them to go to the Las Olas area. You can walk to dining in either direction. They have a complimentary shuttle to bring you to dinner which was a nice option since we didn’t have a car. I couldn’t get over how friendly everyone is here—at the resort and off. Beautiful views of beach and ocean from our balcony. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

The room and view were beautiful. The wait staff on the beach was very pleasant and I loved the option to order food and drinks to my beach chair. It was great the hotel provided beach, chairs and umbrellas. Some staff was not pleasant, but overall it was a great stay.

Hotel doesn't look nearly as nice as the photos. The pool was over-crowded and there weren't any chairs available so we had to put our names on a wait list.
