The manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He served breakfast early when he found we had a meeting at 7:30. The last morning there was an elderly (87 yrs.) gentleman using a walker. He helped him get breakfast and then tried to help him get oriented to where he was wanting to go. The man probably should not have been driving at all and more so by himself. What a great manager!

I have to take challenging long road trips every now n then so by the time i arrive at the motel im wore out & bent out of shape so it is extremely refreshing to be greeted with all the kindness, compassion, & helpfulness!!!

I gave the hotel an OK stay because checking in Nobody was there at the desk to check me in and the manager was sitting in his office and called someone to check me in. Then my room didn’t have a remote to be able to switch back-and-forth from TV to cable and the front deck lady said she would get me one but after 5 days I never had one so I had to get up and change it every time.Then in the middle of the morning, turned the water off to work on it without letting the guest know that the water was going be turned off right in the middle of my shower, and then this morning I went down for breakfast at 8:30 and they were out of eggs and sausage and yogurt, not prepared at all. I will not be staying here again. Other Quality Inns maybe but not this one in McCook. And the website shows a picture of a hot tub that is not there anymore. False advertising. Shame on you Quality Inn.

Put my “do not disturb” hanger on the door but they still came in and cleaned my room even though I didn’t want any towels or anyone in my room while I stayed there because it was kind of a sketchy hotel. When I asked the manager why they came into my room he said, “I told them not to go in there,” and shrugged.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower was hot or cold, no in between. There was decent water pressure but it felt like needles coming out of the shower head.

The facility is a bit aged. The pool is cold and the hot tub doesn't work. However, the staff was great, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the water is hot and the breakfast is good.

Very good place to stay and at a reasonable price. The front desk man was very nice and accommodating. I would have gave it 5 stars across the board if it wasn’t for a couple of SMALL issues. First, I had prepaid for the room, but the Hotel Manager had some issue’s getting this worked out, which took some time to get to our room. Then when we got to our room, which was very nice, they had the shortest toilet I have ever seen. I am 6’2” and with the lid closed, the top only came up to the bottom half of my calf. Kind of a low sitting toilet. My wife is only 5’ 1” and it set kind of low for her also. For young children the height would be great for them.

It was a good place for what I needed. I needed a warm bed & a hot shower. I wasn’t planning on stopping on the way to Colorado but the weather had other plans for me.
