Quality Inn & Suites Charleston - Civic Center

This hotel is in a VERY scary part of town. Do not go outside at night. Water in the faucets was brown. Staff were really wonderful though and did the best they could with what they had.

Very nice place close to shopping and restaurants, entertainment

Walking into the lobby of the hotel, I was concerned because it was little rundown, however, our room was very clean and comfortable, and the only complaint about the room was that my bedspread was stained. I think it was clean, just really stained. We interacted with two folks working the front desk - morning and evening, and they were both kind, responsive and helpful. We also ran into two different cleaning staff members and they were also very nice and helpful. The area of town is kind of run-down and depressed, which is unfortunate because downtown Charleston is lovely and I hope they experience some sustainable level of revitalization soon. Despite that, the hotel was really affordable and centrally located, and I would stay there again!

Liked the staff and accomodations. Parking mg is noisy, but in a downtown location.

Stay was not so good. Door very hard to latch shut. Phone did not work. Called the desk to let them know and he said he could move us but it was too late to go through all that. He wanted us to come down to the desk. I would not recommend Motel to family or friends.

It was a nice location in downtown area only a .5 miles from the convention center. Easy access to the roads to get around. Me updated room and nice place to stay.

Would have given a really good review had it not been for the kitchen staff cursing and screaming and threatening me because she was feelin some kinda way . Very stressful and very scary I think she was bipolar or something

Clean Hotel downtown so in not the greatest section of town. Front desk girl was friendly. Breakfast was good. For the price can’t beat it!

Renovation’s going on in building and next door. Noisy throughout the night.

Our room got rammed shack and items got stolen by a staff member.

Run down hotel. Room was OK but rest of hotel was pretty gross. No hot food in morning until we finally tracked someone down and asked.

The hotel was comfortable, had a good free breakfast, and was close to the attractions we planned to visit.

it was mostly quiet however the room have had water damaged and there was mustley smell to it.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Got in around 9:45 P. M. and the entire area was dark. Was not sure where to go for the front desk but stumbled upon it anyway. A little ruff in the lobby area but our room was clean and comfortable.

No towels to exchange. Ice machine all the way on 6 floor when staying on 2 nd floor very inconvenient. Breakfast staff was amazing and friendly.

Everything was great the staff the room but the crackheads outside fighting wasn't cool ..not their fault tho
