Quality Inn & Suites Pearl - Jackson

The hotel overall looked nice but, after going into our first room the floors were dirty and there was a dead roach on the wall. We told the front desk about the issue and they gave us another room. This room seemed to be ok. After leaving the hotel for a few hours upon arriving to our room we found another roach in the open closet area and decided it was time to go. On the way out there was another roach in the main walkway heading out of the hotel. This place is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and exterminator service. Staff was friendly but this does not excuse the conditions. I was able to get a full refund from the hotel. However I was 4 hours away from home but, decided to drive home instead of sleeping in a roach infested hotel or paying for a few hours in another hotel in the area.

The staff was friendly and he remembered us from the week before! Will definitely make it our midway stop on the way to see grandkids!!

They are always neat and clean

First room we got in literally was not even cleaned, tv was on, towels were all on the floor in the bathroom, sheets definitely looked like someone had slept in them. Second room was a “non smoking room”, lol that was a joke, smelt like cigarette smoke and had smoke ALL in the hallway. Finally the last room we got in was decent, but bathroom was dirty and it just stunk SO BAD. Used to be our go to hotel coming from out of town but we will never be back.

I was driving from Tennessee to Texas and stopped for the night with my kids under 15 y/o. We checked in and went to our assigned room. Once we entered the room it smelt like cigarettes and musky. We went downstairs to tell the clerk. She asked a few questions like "did i smoke" "did i mess anything up in there" both were a NO. She said she had to go check before she could do anything for me. When she got back, she told me there is no smell and how i was lying. This was done Infront of my kids! I asked for a new room and received the next room down and eye rolls! When we entered into the next room, the smell was faint but it was not giving me any breathing issues. The room was NOT stocked with toilet paper or soap. We had to ask for it. They stated a pool... it was nasty! So gross. There was breakfast. No issues checking out. Besides the ash tray smell and rude clerk, i would stay again.

The parking lot was horrible. Pot holes everywhere. Limited parking spaces. The upper shower area had human hair, and orange stains.

The desk clerk was very personable and was willing to answer all of our questions.

Went to check in and the clerk stayed on his personal phone the entire check in process, I think the only time he actually talked to me was to say room 201..other then that he stayed on his personal call. The room had a broken counter in the bathroom, the entire room smelled sour, and the sound of foot traffic through out the hotel went on through the entire night..as far as the sound I understand not much the management could do but would be nice if they at least reminded quests in the late hours to lower tones. Really only needed the room to sleep but that seemed impossible due to the noise. Won’t stay here again and will just fork out the money for a better option.

Accommodating, clean, comfy, great internet for a hotel, plenty electrical outlets, plenty of breakfast options, quiet, organized. “Evi” was very helpful at front desk multiple times. We paid more to stay here than we do for hotels, but it was highly worth it every penny. They are a great example of how and what a hotel should be.

The rooms was ok. Had a strange stale smell. And kids running up and down hall. But ok for 1 night. The front desk was unfriendly. I walked in and he didn’t greet me or anything. Said “ID” so I handed him my ID and he made my keys without any more questions. Handed it to me and my ID. So I asked “can I change my card on file” he said no I already charged you. I have worked in hotels my entire life and I know he could have switched the card on file. But instead he was just ready for me to leave the lobby so he could continue to be on his phone. Hospitality isn’t a thing anymore I guess. So I just accepted and left. I probably wouldn’t book again.

Not bad for the price. It was clean but the parking was a little difficult (not much parking space). Overall, I would stay at this property again and would recommend.

Just wasnt what i expected or use to. Staff wasnt that good, room service came after 3pm which was inconvenient. Staff could have been nicer

Dirty tub and dirt on the couch and the AC not working. Had to move rooms. Halls have a stench.

Poor customer service. Request some towels and we were told to bring the dirty towels before they give us a new one.

Very old building that has not been well kept. Lobby looks good but once your past there its ghetto. Very foul odor in hallways. Do not recommend.

Drove from TX to MS to take care of some personal business. Stopped in Pearl on the way out to spend the night. This was a quick turnaround and I was exhausted. Cedric at the front desk was extremely accommodating, professional and friendly at the same time. Rooms were clean as well as the property. Excellent breakfast the next morning and it was free. This will be my stopping point whenever I’m traveling through. Great service all the way around and it began when I walked through the front door, thanks to Cedric.
