Everything was good.

Pro: clean, rooms smelled nice, staff was very helpful and friendly, not very noisy, affordable Con: fitted bed sheet had a tear, limited breakfast options (but none of us went hungry) Note: DO NOT purchase gasoline in Hillsboro! It was 50 cents a gallon more expensive than Waco.

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. It just needed to be vacuumed a bit better. However, the bed was clean and comfortable. We had a very quiet room and had 3 great nights of sleep! Hillsboro, TX is not a big city at all, but we decided to stay in between Waco and Dallas because of the graduations we were there for. So keep that in mind. There’s a Starbucks right next to the hotel, a McDonald’s down the street and a massive Buc-ee’s one exit away!

The front desk could not find my booking even after I gave my itinerary and booking confirmation numbers. They proceeded suggest that I didn't know which hotel that I had booked, that maybe I was confused and came to wrong one, and that I had made up the booking... this is after I had showed my phone with the email from booking information. They did everything they could to try and make me leave even after I told them that the funds had already been taken out of my account so clearly I had a room here. Finally after 10 minutes of this back and forth, I asked to speak to a manager because I was exhausted after driving seven hours and I just need to lay down. The night manager literally found my booking in less than 20 seconds. Overall this was just a frustrating night. I will say the bed sheets were surprisingly soft, but the bathroom was definitely aged. The bottom of the tub was swollen and soft in some areas and the roof had water damage. So I guess do what you will with this information.

Very comfortable bed. Comfortable motel. Good location. Breakfast options limited but it was ok. Recommend.

Great room, comfortable bed, and great shower. Nice and quiet too.

Clean rooms

We had a late night check in, and it literally took 22 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Even though we were calling and ringing the bell, no one came. Then when someone finally did, you could tell he just rolled out of bed and had absolutely zero empathy or remorse for making us wait. So, this place is absolute garbage.

What a hotel for the price… we will definitely be staying there in our way to and back from Mexico

I never checked in, needed a refund due to me finding another room. Asked for a refund & was told management would give me a call & never did.

Hillsboro La Quinta was a nice respite after moving my father. Very clean and comfortable room.

Showed up at 3am and the night manager got me checked in. Thanks! Room was nice size. Bed was a king and comfortable. Nice clean comfortable spot at a good price.

Drove up from San Antonio on the way to Dallas. Not a long drive but I needed a night off and this hotel was it. Part of the Choice Hotels network this hotel has a plaque in the lobby from 2021 for being a super hotel. My room was well appointed and the bed wa super comfortable. I got a great night's sleep.

Check in was fine, the staff was very friendly, the room was average, the couch in the room looked really old and the coffee table could collapse at any moment. Some of the outlets in the room did not work and most of them were loose in the wall. The room was clean, the breakfast was subpar, there was no juice(out of order for how long) the only thing to drink was coffee or milk served in a picture. The only butter was a stick that you had to cut a piece off of.
