Quality Inn

The hotel itself wasn’t bad, however the room was a lot smaller than expected. The hot tub was very small and WAY too hot which says a lot because I only go in hotubs. The sauna was a nice surprise. The Tv in our room kept going out and back on. The guide didn’t work so we had no way to see what channel was playing what. The bathroom was small. The breakfast was excellent !! The staff were friendly. It was mostly quiet at night.

Had a nice stay overall. Room was very clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was pretty good, but walls seemed thin with a lot of noise from other guests. We would stay again.

The staff was great. The room was average. Avoid a room near the lobby. It was very noisy late at night and early in the morning.

This was the best quality inn i have ever stayed it. The staff was top notch! The gal that keeps the breakfast taken care of was the sweetest and sooo very helpful. I was just in mexico at an all inclusive and it was not helpful or accommodating at all. Marquette to be totally fair, is probably the nicest place to visit. I have yet to run into disrespectful folks there. I just love the area. It helps me feel so good that my daughter is in such a great community. Shes at Northern.its so safe and friendly. I would absolutly come back and recommend this quality inn ti any and all folks! Thank you to all who was part of the team when we were there this past week. See you all soon!

Convenience

The service and employees were exceptional - kind, friendly, helpful, professional, etc...And the hotel and rooms were clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and I LOVED that the rooms were not stuffy or overheated. Granted, this was Marquette in December. Yet, even in the UP in the winter, some hotel rooms are just too hot. We did have a couple of issues which one should be aware of if they book a stay here. The first is there is no elevator in this hotel. So, if you have mobility issues or have heavy luggage, you may want to request a 1st floor room. We did not know this upon booking. It wasn't a big deal for us. But I can see that it may cause an issue for some if they are not aware. The other issue we had was our room faced the highway which was noisier than we are used to. So, if you like quieter rooms, I would suggest asking for a room which faces the parking lot. Keep in mind, this is older than other hotels in the area, so the walls and doors are not as sound-proofed. All-in-all, it was a good value. And, ultimately, I would prefer an older hotel with thinner walls and a little noise that is clean with comfortable beds and has wonderful staff than a newer hotel without that.
