Very disappointed we stayed 5 nights with about 4 inches of snow on the ground and the whole 5 days our heat did not work theu never offered a room change but did let us use a space heater and the tube was pealing paint.......trying to add pictures but they want load

I booked this hotel for my Dad and he said he had a pleasant stay and the staff was very cooperative. He also said it was clean. He is happy he’s staying here again in two weeks when he goes back to Vermont.

Generally good, the staff are diligent, attentive, and friendly. The kids loved the pool and the free breakfast. The housekeepers and maintenance workers did a good job, but the building is old and many minor but important things need repair, such as loose door handles and security locks, shower curtain rod loose, bugs in the bathtub, ants on the floor and carpet, noisy a/c unit, broken switch on the guest washing machine, etc. Colchester is a tourist town so room rates in summer are inflated, but even so, this was not a $240 per night facility. With tourists and construction workers this place was fully occupied, so the corporation is making money but not investing in the property.

Upon arrival, we witnessed the manager in a heated argument with another guest over their stay, which should have been our first warning. Our room was in unacceptable condition: visibly dirty, with black mold present, and none of the amenities matched what was advertised on Hotels.com.
The pool didn't have enough water in it, the toilet was barely secured and ran continuously for 30 minutes after each flush, and at 12:45 AM, the old, rusted air conditioner seized up and emitted a loud, high-pitched squeal that made it impossible to sleep.
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to warrant one. I would not recommend staying here unless it’s an absolute last resort.

No soap for the sink or shower. There was a dispenser for hand lotion, nest to the sink where one would expect soap. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower were empty. The bed sheets had old stains on them. The door to our room was not hung properly and stuck. The only elevator would stop working periodically and someone from the front desk had to go to the control panel to flip a switch.

The room floor was dirty, there was no soap, and the toilet paper roll was almost empty. They also took my card information and made online purchases with my card that same day I checked in. Never again

Flight got delayed due to weather, wasn’t able to make it to the hotel until a day later, requested to have my reservation adjusted given the circumstances, staff and manager was not accommodating and straight rude and not helpful, would never ever recommend or stay at this property or subsidiaries

The building is very worn down, AC is broken and the entire unit was dirty, and when it did work shook so hard I thought it would fall off the wall. I would never stay here again.

I paid for the hotel room and we got there and they wanted $25 for the deposit which was no problem but it didn’t have money on my chipped card and they would not take my other card that had plenty of money on it so we ended up not being able to get the room that we paid for
