The Quality Inn in Raton, is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The condition of the hotel is a little tired, but the room was clean and passable. I would stay here again if I was passing through.

Room we were given smelled of cat. We were then assigned a different room. Room was okay but noise out in the hallway from washer and dryer. Best to stay upstairs or away from noise.

Breakfast was good staff was awesome. I didn't like that the handicap accessible room didn't have a walk-in shower. It's my fault I didn't ask enough questions and when I book the room with Expedia it said accessible not handicap accessible The room had low light switches for a wheelchair and everything else to accommodate a wheelchair except the tub and shower. There was a seat that you could put in the tub and there were plenty of grab bars. If a "handicap room" (meaning a room designed for people with disabilities) doesn't have a walk-in shower, it is not considered properly accessible, as a key feature of a handicap accessible bathroom is a shower with a low threshold that allows for easy wheelchair access, essentially a "roll-in" shower; this is often considered a significant issue as it could prevent someone with mobility limitations from using the bathroom safely.

Staff very courteous and professional

I had a previous good experience, so I will keep coming back. The main reason for staying here is that it is halfway between my beginning location and my destination.

The property is very worn. The bed was hard and not very comfortable. The pillows need to be replaced on the towel towels or thread bear.

Super quiet

The staff were friendly and clean. 119 was the room were in the shower was disgusting. We found mold and hair in the tub. There was a nasty order we could smell from time to time

Bathroom tub and shower are very outdated. Wasn't sure if the bottom would crack when used. Hallways and pool area were very cold.

Overall a clean and affordable place to stay. The breakfast area, especially, was very clean. I recommend it.

The Hotel was very good. Most of the nearby Businesses were closed, boarded up, or in disrepair.
