Quality Inn Raton, NM

This property needs an update severely. No elevator available for the second floor. Luckily I didn't stay on the second floor. The fan in the bathroom was so noisy. I couldn't hear myself talk. The bathroom sink didn't drain very well. The bed was terrible. But the staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating. Made up for the poor quality of the room.

Good location. Easy access from the highway. Electricity went off. Was not able to take a shower or watch the news. I know this was beyond their control but it made for an uncomfortable night and stay.

Nice. Staff excellent, very sweet. Room comfortable, knocked a point off because of hair in the bathtub but I don’t fault the hardworking staff. They do their best. The company should give them a small handvac to use especially for the tub.

Easy checkin. Sonja was helpful, friendly, and has a wonderful personality. The rooms and easy access were great for pet families such as mine.

Super close to the interstate, yet still very quiet.

Was unable to get out right at 12, so they charged me. It was due to work.

Front desk employee a bit negative at check-in. Told us power would be shut off in community the next morning between 9-11, but couldn't explain why.

We are working out of town my crew got tired and trying to have a good night sleep and surprise there's bug beds on the room the service and help to solve this matter on the employees part was awful not helping

The Quality Inn in Raton, is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The condition of the hotel is a little tired, but the room was clean and passable. I would stay here again if I was passing through.

Room we were given smelled of cat. We were then assigned a different room. Room was okay but noise out in the hallway from washer and dryer. Best to stay upstairs or away from noise.

Breakfast was good staff was awesome. I didn't like that the handicap accessible room didn't have a walk-in shower. It's my fault I didn't ask enough questions and when I book the room with Expedia it said accessible not handicap accessible The room had low light switches for a wheelchair and everything else to accommodate a wheelchair except the tub and shower. There was a seat that you could put in the tub and there were plenty of grab bars. If a "handicap room" (meaning a room designed for people with disabilities) doesn't have a walk-in shower, it is not considered properly accessible, as a key feature of a handicap accessible bathroom is a shower with a low threshold that allows for easy wheelchair access, essentially a "roll-in" shower; this is often considered a significant issue as it could prevent someone with mobility limitations from using the bathroom safely.
