I found Queen City Inn to be a safe, comfortable, and affordable place to stay during my time in Bangor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made check-in easy and the overall experience pleasant. The location is excellent—centrally situated near major roads, the airport, and local shops and restaurants—so getting around was never a problem.
My room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi. I appreciated the sense of safety on the property, especially as a solo traveler. While it's not a luxury hotel, it’s exactly what I needed: a clean, friendly, and conveniently located place to rest.

Showed up past midnight and check in was a breeze. I don't even think it took 3 minutes. Building was very quiet, room was clean and spacious. Bed was too soft for my liking but that's just an individual opinion. It was comfortable and clean to sleep in which is more important. Shower was spacious and water was hot within a minute. Sink was outside the toilet/shower area which was nice when i wanted to brush my teeth for bed and my partner was using the facilities. Room was more modern than the pictures led me to believe. The bed was quite high up so for a short person like me (5'3) i was needing to jump up to get in or slide down from it to get out. A little hard when you're sleepy in the middle of the night at 40+ yrs old but doable haha. Parking was available right outside our room.
Near perfect stay.
Would give the place a 4.5 / 5 if i could.

Easy check in, room was clean and comfortable and contained a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Free Continental breakfast included. The exterior building and property grounds seem a little run-down and is located on busy road so there was some road noise. Price was reasonable

The staff were friendly and efficient, but the look of rhe tub/shower area and a few spots on the ceiling made me say no thanks to a shower in the morning.
The hard boiled eggs at breakfast tasted "off", but the rest of the food was good.

The room was horrible. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart, the tub was disgusting and the sheets were stained. When going to the front desk to share the status of the room, no room change was offered. We were just told that they would talk to the manager about
