Wonderful hotel. Clean, quiet, and secure. Liked that a key card was required to use the elevators to the guest rooms. Valet parking was very convenient. We stayed two nights for a family vacation, kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The hotel’s attachment to the Mall of America was so wonderful and convenient.

Unfortunately, after staying here a previous time, this time the beds seemed especially uncomfortable - very hard. They need to add soft blankets and new mattresses or soft pillow-top addition to current mattresses. The smell in the room seems stagnant - use better cleaning products and change out the old carpet. The location was great for us - near the airport and shopping in the mall. Dining was great too. However, if the beds are uncomfortable, we won’t be staying there again.

Hotel staff were wonderful. Very attentive and helpful. Just a few concerns that caused me to refrain from top ratings:
- The room was chilly, even after adjusting the thermostat. Bedding was inadequate to keep us warm.
- The pool was very cold. Not expecting bath water but I’m certain the water was close to 70 degrees. Even the children struggled to enjoy a swim.
- Hair in shower left from the last guest.
Not expecting perfection but the higher cost to stay left some disappointment.

Everything was great, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the location was perfect with it being in the mall. However, the elevator was broken, which was a major inconvenience since I had a child in a stroller. So when we went up to our room later at night as he fell asleep, we had to take the stroller up the escalator since there was no other way to get to our room.

It was a nice room. Downsides were, there were only 2 towels in our room, not really enough for 2 people so we had to find more. The shower does not have a door so a lot of water around the bathroom floor, more towels needed. All the room doors slam shut, so that is loud and all night long.. Staff was excellent and very hospitable.
