What Guests Say About Their Stay

It was a good experience. The staff were all kind and helpful. The room was clean. The lobby was nicely decorated. Two things could be improved: 1) Our floor halls had a slight smell of cigarette smoke that we chalked that up to it being an old hotel — another floor’s hallway had little or no such odor, so it seems nothing that carpet replacement would not take care of. 2) We parked on the upper level of the nearby ramp, which seemed safe. The lower level was poorly lit, so we did not park there — lighting and security cameras with signs posted would give potential bad actors something to think about and make customers feel safer. Conclusion: Before staying at the Radisson, I had chatted with the hotel manager on the phone out of concern for the poor online reviews. Having now experienced the hotel, I felt the manager gave me an accurate, positive picture of the hotel. In particular he pointed out -- rightly in my opinion -- that many people conflate property cleanliness with property condition. To me, the propeprty was clean, and the condition (age) could be improved with small investment by the property owners. Nevertheless, I conclude that many online reviews were unfairly negative. In summary, we found it a pleasant experience, and we would book a stay at the Harborview again. Thank you for serving us with kindness.

We love the location and atmosphere of the Radisson and have lots of great family memories there. We found the front desk staff friendly and helpful and had the best view of the harbor ever. Our only disappointment was the 360 restaurant. The menu was limited, the service was slow and the food seemed like it was prepared elsewhere, frozen, and heated up for our dinner.

We loved staying in the iconic Duluth hotel. The view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious in the rotating restaurant. Only critique is that the pool area could use some plants and decor to liven it up. It really feels outdated and brings the overall experience down. But otherwise a fun experience to stay there.

The carpet in our room was filthy, the bathroom door was hard to lock & the knob for the shower had to be pulled hard to work. The water in the swimming pool was very clean but it doesn't heat as well as it did a few years ago. I asked the front desk for more coffee cups but they didn't have any. Our breakfast at their top floor revolving restaurant was very good & reasonably priced. The parking area is really bad & there are no security cameras. Needs to be totally redone!

The carpet was so dirty, with huge stains, the bottom of my sox were black. Asked when checking in how busy they were and the reply was "plenty of rooms available." So my question why would they put me in a room on the 5th floor overlooking an alley and parking lot. The elevator shuttered when it was moving. There were two different styles of bedside lamps and the chair, which was too uncomfortable to sit in, I am assuming came from Good Will. The place needs to be updated. The Front Desk could not help when asked questions, one replied I am not from here, should be trained on basic customer questions.

The carpets in common areas and our room were filthy, there was what looked like puke dried on the floor at the elevator, the door looks like a dirty fire escape/roof access door. In our room there were multiple pieces of gum stuck and stomped into to the carpet.

For starters, the first night we found out that the bath tub doesn't hold water. The shower temperature was speratic, and the TV was static for what felt like every few seconds. The elevator stopped abruptly and felt unsafe, the walls are paper thin, and the beds we like sleeping on spring loaded cardboard. The restaurant is under staffed and the food was not good, we tried both dinner and breakfast, the spaghetti tasted like stofers frozen tv dinner and the buskits for the buskits and gravy were crunchy like ritz crackers. The second night we went to go check out the pool and hot tub area, found out the hot tub was out of order and the sauna was tiny, also that night the electricity went out in half of our room and we couldn't charge our phones. Because of this we came home a day early from out vacation and will not be satying here again.

Our room was on the 14th floor, for most of our stay the elevators were not working. The carpeting in hallway had big dirt spots on it, the ice machine was out of order, one night the water cooler by front desk was empty and they had to bring out a few bottles of water after we informed them it was empty. The parking area that we had to use is filthy and run down, people through glass cologne bottles around breaking them all over under cars and all over where everyone had to drive over. I would not recommend staying here and for the price you are charged it’s not acceptable. I would never stay again. Truly I would like my money refunded

Restaurant was cool, only 1 elevator working sucked. Parking area was gross, room was small and tight to get in bathroom. No free breakfast. Overall poor for the price of a single bed room. This reservation was our last option due to availability. The only thing good about this stay was the location convenience and being in the restaurant. I would not recommend staying here, only go to the restaurant.

When we first got your room, we noticed a very bad smell and the carpet was sopping wet in a 5 foot area around the air conditioner. We were moved to a different room. The rooms are super small and rundown. Our new room was on the 7th of 16 floors. One of the 2 elevators was constantly broken so the wait for the elevator was extremely long all weekend. The entire building was rundown and dirty. The carpet in the hallways had stains everywhere and wallpaper and molding peeling off the walls. I felt very dirty in the building. The parking is super inconvenient and dirty. There were homeless people drinking alcohol and hanging out in the parking lot. It didn’t feel safe.
