Radisson Suite Hotel Oceanfront

It was terrible. Firsy of all, upon arrival for my birthday weekend celebration, we were told by the front desk person that all ocean front rooms had no access to the balcony and thats why we booked the room-Especially, for the balcony access of an ocean front room. We were never ofdered a no hassle refund if we chose to leave and there was also no direct beach access from ths hotel, no pool or nice area to relax out back and no lounge chairs or umbrellas were avaiable either. To make matters worse there were holes in the sheets from over usage and tgere was a cracked tile and hole that was in our room, that was a danger to cutting your toe, if not careful about walking in that area of the room. I asked for arefund for the next night, but the hotel saff said I was beingrude to the staff for complaining and asjing for this no hassle refund, even ymthey said they offered upon check-in that we both nwver heard offered, but were now giving me a hard time about, as they eventually agreed to, with a late checkout fee applied. I wouldn't agree to that because thats not a hassle free refund in my mind. So, due to all the undo stress all this back and forth caused on ny birthday celebration weekend, I decided to just stay another night and take this matter uo with more seniior management after our stay and via numerous reviews with my hundreds of thousands of followers, if this matter is not resloved to my utmost satisfaction.

I’m not the type of person to complain. This hotel was right on the beach and was beautiful. Staff was very nice. The Bad: Hot water wasn’t working at first. Then upon fixing the hot water didn’t last long at all. When we got there the elevator was working and leaving it didn’t. We didn’t get a notice about anything to do with the property until after we paid Expedia. Balconies, pool, and more wasn’t available nor stipulated until after we paid Expedia. That wasn’t fair. Like I said I’m not a complainer and I would have been ok with everything but $300/night for no hot water is ridiculous. Other than this I have been enjoying using Expedia’s platform for our travels. I am nervous about booking across country through this platform. Will have to see how the next experience goes.

Who closes their oceanfront pool and balconies for renovation during spring break? Poorly managed hotel. The time for renos is in winter geniuses; not spring or summer. I wish I had a re-do. Steer clear.

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation which means no access to balconies for ANY room (not just the ones they are currently working on). You cannot even open sliding doors to watch & hear the surf from inside the room during our temperate spring weather. Pool area is also closed, which means to get to the beach, you have to walk through the parking lot and use a public access that is at the end of the street beside the hotel. First room they put me in, the in-room safe was left locked and they could not unlock it, refrigerator did not work, a light bulb was out, and the clock was unplugged for which I had to move the mattress to get to the outlet. Second room had no in-room safe, no clock at all, and stopper in bathroom sink did not work. No lightening for bathroom vanity. The only light is overhead and behind you so you have to apply makeup, shave, whatever with your face in a shadow. At least the bed was very comfortable and it had a good desk work area. I had stayed there before. This visit was very disappointing.

When checking in we found that the balconies were condemned and the sliding doors were screwed shut (basically leaving only one way out of the hotel room if there was a fire), the pool and pool area was closed, the private access to the beach was unavailable ( had to use the private access which wasnt a deal breaker, just another inconvenience, TVs had very limited channels (like 6 channels). The pool,balconies, and beach access were all off limiits due to hotel renovations, that we were not aware of until checking in, not sure why the TVs were messed up, the TVs were straightened out by the 3rd day we were there. The staff was very nice though. Had we know about all for the amenities not being available prior to getting to the hotel and checking in, we would of rethought staying there.

The property is renovating. Over half the rooms were closed, along with the pool, path to beach, and lounge area. The biggest disappointment was all the balconies were condemned and closed. The outside of the upper floor windows were so dirty it was difficult to even enjoy the view of the Atlantic. No breakfast available and the "bar" closes at 6 on a weekend. It will be nice when completed, and for an overnight it is OK just for a place to sleep, although it could have been cheaper noting all is deficiencies. The blues club next door is worth a try.

Property was under major construction. Expedia did not advertise this and still charged full rate. made room non-cancellable however at hotel they were offering full refund. Will never use Expedia again. Terrible and un-ethical service.

We didn't stay long enough to really experience the hotel. Was disappointed though that we were not informed of the pool and balconies being closed until after we had booked.

The property is currently under construction with “condemned” signs on the front doors of the rooms and sliders that go out to the balcony. The pool is closed for renovation. Half of the hotel is boarded up. Balconies are inaccessible. Rooms are only cleaned every three days.

Balcony closed no breakfast in the morning and the room rate was not miscounted. Not a great visit this year

Balconies were u dear repair. They gave me a dis Knut on my waterfront room.

I booked the stay here and there was nothing said about not being able to access the balcony and or construction being done at the hotel. The balcony was screwed off and they had condemned signs all over the doors. This hotel was even more expensive than some of the others I could have stayed at. After I checked in they sent me an email saying that the hotel was under construction and no balcony access was permitted. The whole point of me paying this much money for a hotel was to enjoy the view outside not through a set of doors covered in signs

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Despite ongoing renovations on one side of the hotel, our room was quiet and comfortable with an incredible view of the ocean.

The hotel is very quiet, is very safe and very easy parking 😀

Did not present as advertised. Paid for balcony and was emailed with too little notice to change plans that the pool and balconies were closed.

Hotel location is nice but room needed repairs. Received an email indicating balconies were “closed for repairs”…upon checking in we see signs up that the balconies were CONDEMNED…definitely not the same thing. Owner needs to get things back up to high quality of w they intend to continue charging $300 a night when you can’t even open your windows for some fresh air.

Price was high for oceanfront with no beach access no balcony access no pool and an extra charge of $16 dollars per day for parking with only half the hotel in operation. I know they are doing renovations but seems they should have started them years ago ceiling stain with wet spot looked like mold or mildew screws sticking out of sliding door could have caused an injury if I didn’t notice it.

Only drawback was that the Balconies were still under construction.

Even though under renovation (pool & decks) everything was clean and very comfortable
