Staff (Brian) checked us in and he was very welcoming and informative. We knew the property was under construction, so we were not surprised by the work being done on sight. Our suite was very nice with plenty of room.

The staff was nice. The fact that I was told after I booked the room and paid for it that we had no access to the pool or our balcony on an ocean view room is absolutely unacceptable. We have a 2 year old in our travelling party and couldn't even take him swimming other than the ocean. The air conditioner in the room was so loud and woke us up every time it turned on. The room needs updated with more convenient outlets next to the bed.

We were aware of the construction but you had to go around the hotel for beach access. With no pool there should at least be better beach access. We refused the first two rooms as there was water on the floors. No where to get coffee on the premises. I would not go until construction is finished.

Have no access to the balcony or pool due to renovations and was not informed before booking this hotel if i knew this before hand i would have never stayed there....and was charged full price with no discount...and room was dirty and old looking ..the tv was small and outdated...the room doesn't have a microwave the air conditioning was barely working.broken tiles on the floor and a picture frame hanging over the bed randomly fell on to bed luckily no one was sleep in the bed ..i paid for a beach front balcony room and had zero access what a waste of money

I was mislead and conned. When I booked this property there was no mention that the balconies had been condemned so we could not open the patio door much less sit on the balcony.
Upon check in we were told we could not drink the water due to a boil water advisory. No bottle water was offered. How is that even legal to have a place of business open with no drinkable water available
Will NEVER stay here again.

The balcony and pool were closed. The room was ok, other than the rust on the towel bar, the rust on the sliding glass doors that you could not use, the screws some were sticking out of the sliding glass door as it was holding the doors closed. The hole approx the size of a quarter that was in the floor and the fact that they did not at least sweep the room out unless we asked. We found out there is not a microwave in the room it was located in the laundry room, how odd. We attempted to use the coffee pot in the room but upon opening the area for water it had smelly stale water in it.

The hotel advertised that the pool is closed and the balconies were blocked due to updates. What was not said was that the sliders were screwed shut and "Condemmed" notices were plastered on the sliders for the balc0nies and the windows had not been cleaned since last season, so there was not a beautiful view of the ocean. This was as of the 1st week of March.

Pool was closed, beach access was closed and balconies were bolted shut. Booked through Expedia and they made no mention of that when booking other than a little note under the other tab under the property amenities tab. Poor communication. Otherwise great staff and room.

The views are slaying but the amenities are completely closed. Yes they said the pool and balcony were closed but this also means the entrance to the beach as well as restoration are extremely inconvenient for guests to saves from the beach. Also the restaurant is closed and the construction is from sun up to sun down making this really a stay at a construction yard with a view. Zero concessions were offered to makeup for these inefficiencies.

I was not notified of the ongoing renovations when I booked on Expedia. Balconies are condemned and sealed off. I would not have booked had I been told this. Construction noise starts at 730AM, beach access is closed so you must use an adjacent public access point. Disappointing.

It was terrible. Firsy of all, upon arrival for my birthday weekend celebration, we were told by the front desk person that all ocean front rooms had no access to the balcony and thats why we booked the room-Especially, for the balcony access of an ocean front room. We were never ofdered a no hassle refund if we chose to leave and there was also no direct beach access from ths hotel, no pool or nice area to relax out back and no lounge chairs or umbrellas were avaiable either. To make matters worse there were holes in the sheets from over usage and tgere was a cracked tile and hole that was in our room, that was a danger to cutting your toe, if not careful about walking in that area of the room. I asked for arefund for the next night, but the hotel saff said I was beingrude to the staff for complaining and asjing for this no hassle refund, even ymthey said they offered upon check-in that we both nwver heard offered, but were now giving me a hard time about, as they eventually agreed to, with a late checkout fee applied. I wouldn't agree to that because thats not a hassle free refund in my mind. So, due to all the undo stress all this back and forth caused on ny birthday celebration weekend, I decided to just stay another night and take this matter uo with more seniior management after our stay and via numerous reviews with my hundreds of thousands of followers, if this matter is not resloved to my utmost satisfaction.

I’m not the type of person to complain. This hotel was right on the beach and was beautiful. Staff was very nice.
The Bad: Hot water wasn’t working at first. Then upon fixing the hot water didn’t last long at all. When we got there the elevator was working and leaving it didn’t. We didn’t get a notice about anything to do with the property until after we paid Expedia. Balconies, pool, and more wasn’t available nor stipulated until after we paid Expedia. That wasn’t fair. Like I said I’m not a complainer and I would have been ok with everything but $300/night for no hot water is ridiculous. Other than this I have been enjoying using Expedia’s platform for our travels. I am nervous about booking across country through this platform. Will have to see how the next experience goes.
