It was quite disappointing when we tried to check in at 4:00pm and was told that our room wasn’t ready and no one could give a time estimate due to a full hotel the night before. This is not our issue, but we were the ones being affected. I can honestly say, I’ve never had this issue at a hotel. For the amount of money we spent, I would expect to get the full use for our stay.
However, the ladies upfront were doing the best they could with the cards they were dealt with. I’m not sure if it was a management/scheduling issue.

We had 2 rooms for a family celebration. The rooms were beautiful, the view of the Ohio River and city lights was great. The restaurant was stunning. Any staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive. No complaints!

The room was more spacious and comfortable than I expected.
Although the view from the window wasn’t great due to its downtown location, it was nice to have a riverside trail nearby, which made good use of my time.

Overall the place is absolutely stunning and clean. The room was very nice and the beds comfortable and clean. The only issues were the people on our floor were up all night and very loud and the valet process in the morning took a half hour. But it’s very walkable to so many event spaces and has a restaurant on the premises.

The shower door did not close all the way so it was a huge gap letting cold air in while you’re trying to take a hot shower, and also leaving water all over the floor. I told the front desk and was told someone would go in a fix it while we were out only to come back and it was not fixed. Notified the front desk once again and was told we could use a room close by to shower in. For the price I paid for the room I would think that everything would be working properly. It was my first time staying there and that made me second guess choosing this hotel over a cheaper one.

The hotel was amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Unique shower! Only issue was the noise of the traffic but not too bad. We had a sound machine.
