The hotel was modern and big and the staff were friendly. As we didn't want to use the valet parking the staff recommended where to park nearby as we didn't need the car until we left. The room was excellent and the hotel is in a convenient location to walk around Toledo

A very nice hotel. The restaurant downstairs had amazing food. The bar/restaurant on the top floor had an outside bar which was very nice. Walking distance to other restaurants and bars. Parking garage is a bit of a hike do Splurge on the valet, you’ll be happier. I would definitely stay here again.

Expedia has the wrong pictures on their website, also I didn't get the room we booked on Expedia. I won't book through them again. I will always book through the hotel website from now on. Expedia did me wrong.

Our room remained at 71 degrees our entire stay. We turned the thermostat down to 50 and we still got non relief. Ordered room service only to get 2 glasses of warm, flat soda and warm cheesecake.
Absolutely disappointed.

I liked that it was right downtown and near the water. The rooftop bar and restaurant were nice.
Check in was not a good system. I called ahead and receptionist said the room would be ready when we arrived. We got there and the room was not ready. That’s okay, we’re early. We sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. Then they said the card reader was down. We then waited an hour. Decided “maybe we will just come back”- I left the phone number with the front desk and asked them to call me back. We left for a few hours to enjoy downtown Toledo and hope that by 4pm we could check in. No one called me. We got to the hotel and the deductible was $200. The room was subpar and the parking was not great. The valet would let you park by the hotel for only a few minutes otherwise you’d be told to go to the parking structure across the street.
Wouldn’t go back.

For the price the room didn't even have a microwave. I had gotten a message that my room was upgraded and to go down and get the keys to our new room. When I got to the front desk the lady was very rude and said that I've already been upgraded and to ignore the text even though she never took my name or room number or anything to identify who I even was.

Terrible service. Water for shower or tap in bathroom only scalding hot. Turns out the staff knew about it. Offered a small discount and then did not give it on the final bill. Called and called and did not get a response. Then they offered points on Bon Voy and of course that did not happen either.

Our stay at the Renaissance Toledo Hotel was very comfortable. My main concern was that although we had opted into daily housekeeping services, we didn't get it. We were at the hotel for 4 nights and only received service one time.
I would like to commend the staff of the Heights who gracefully fit us in (a party of 6) to the restaurant without a reservation on a busy night of graduations and other events. Well done!!

Very friendly staff! Xavier at the front desk was very welcoming and Chris from engineering was very helpful and friendly! We had delicious breakfasts at the Brim House and cocktails at The Heights roof top lounge. Great views of the city and river from the rooftop!
