Residence Inn Shreveport Airport

My son had emergency surgery and we needed to check in a little early. The hotel was accommodating.

This room was not handicap accessible as stated.

The amenities provided in the room. Only dislike was not having a bathtub

We booked this hotel months in advance online out of convince of being right by the airport and the freeway into town. The other reasons for booking was because the room had a kitchenette with full size refrigerator. The dishwasher door was not level so we did not use as I was afraid it would not seal properly. There was an adequate amount of dishware to use for 4 people and 1 small pot for cooking. The hotel does offer a basic breakfast in the morning. HOWEVER, here are the issues we had. We never received any room keys for our room and was told that it was because of a wifi issue. Other guests we ran into had their room keys so I wasnt sure why we couldn't get ours. I asked a couple days after our check in and was still told the internet was down. We had to wait and be let into our room each time we left and came back which was very frequent. We never received any room service cleaning even though the gentlemen would come by every morning and ask if we would need it, and put us on the sheet of rooms to be serviced for the day. We had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper at the front desk, and had to take out our trash with shopping bags from purchases we made. I reminded two different ladies (2 different days) at the front desk with no luck. The pool area was horrible! The pool itself was missing cement on the bottom which could cut someone. The website shows a hot tub but there is not one at all. I cant even put it all into words as this review wont let me.

The room was great for a family.. very spacious and the full size stove and refrigerator were a plus

First of all the Internet was out you could not make any keys for the rooms you could not watch anything but local programs on the TV so in order to get in the room you had to go to the front desk she had to call somebody and they had to come let you in the room That was an inconvenience.

The Area Around The Property

Could not connect to internet for gaming.

The room was stuffy, and moist. The floors were slick where there was no carpet. We were never able to get the room comfort and rid the air of the old moldy/moldew smell. The hot water in the sink didn't work. Major upgrade needed!

Stopped for the night on a business trip. Room was very spacious with a sitting area and large desk. Checkin was quick and easy.will stay again at this location.

No TV for both days. Things happen but biggest issue is that they have NO urgency to correct it. Customers deserve better. Would never stay there again. I’m not one to complain but needs to be said.

Our stay was fine, check in was fast, room was nice, breakfast was ok. The only problem we had was the TV, young man came and reset it but it didn't work but a few minutes, I didn't call him back.

There was hair in the shower long hair. Soap residue when the soap dish. I look like the shower was not cleaned I did not go and complain at the front desk I just washed and cleaned it myself. Also the sink in the dining area wasn't even clean everything else was in good shape

The staff provided excellent service.

The tv didn’t work only in the lobby

We stayed here one night and had no problems. The second time we stayed in same room and we found a cockroach on the bed frame. They did switch us to a different room without problem.

The staff here were absolutely AMAZING!! So helpful and so friendly!! My friends and I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying here! The young men working offered several time to help with our bags, the sweet ladies at the desk did everything they could to make our stay as smooth as possible, and the sweet lady at breakfast was just precious!!

Grandkids was able to play on the basketball court

Check in was great, the lady was very nice and informative. Room was huge, clean, and well stocked. The only complaint is that there was no wifi information and it must ot be very good because even on the tv system it was painfully slow. Pandora couldn't make it thru a whole song without buffering for minutes at a time. Other than that it and its people are A+.
