By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Checked in at 1:18pm. Got to the room and the carpet was wet and it smelled of mold. Requested a room change. We were asked to leave the room we checked into. Then waited in the lobby for two hours on a room. Finally got in to the new room. It was never cleaned. Had mold all over the shower. Told front desk and no one ever cleaned it. The rooms smell. Nothing has been kept up. Some of the staff (not all) were incredibly rude. The car valet service was down. Had to hand a physical ticket and wait for our car. Took an hour for them to get it Saturday.
Rooms. Service. Location. Price. Food. Literally everything about this hotel is bad.

First time to Savannah and we’re ready to come back. We stayed on the riverfront in a historic hotel right before a big weekend. Had we been able to book it for three days? We might still be there, but in the meantime, went ahead and booked a carriage house. Staff was amazing from the valet parking to the hospitality extraordinaire. I wish I would’ve gotten the ladies name. She gave us such a great welcome. And a woman the next day at the lobby desk was so very helpful in pointing out where Lucas theater was and how walkable the area was.. we will be returning !

Upon arrival, we were given a glass of champagne. A bottle of champagne and balloons welcomed us into our room. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed the managers reception daily. Brad, the bartender, was awesome. He was polite, personable, and very efficient. River Street Inn is perfection. Wonderful stay!!!!!
