The room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable, felt safe, has lots of touristy shops and a variety of good restaurants.
There is a nice manager’s reception each afternoon with beverages, snacks and charcuterie.
Valet parking is convenient but pricey ($50/day).
I’d recommend River Street Inn to friends and family if they visit Savannah.

Staff was welcoming and our room was available an hour before check in. The Manager’s daily afternoon reception was very enjoyable! Historic hotel with beautiful view of the river! Would recommend!

The air conditioning in our room barely worked. I know it was hot outside but the ac in the lobbies worked fine. If it was 85% humidity outside, our room wasn’t much better.

When we arrived at the valet station, three attendants were standing there and were very friendly but no one offered to help my daughter and I with all of our bags. Then they handed me a ticket and when I said thank you while carrying a bunch of bags one mumbled under their breath about a tip. Um no. I will tip at checkout of course but this annoyed me. The amount of perfume/scent used in the towels gave me a headache. Our room was on the opposite side so we didn’t have a river view but faced the street without blackout curtains. The hotel gym was small and the bike and one of the treadmills were not working. We only stayed one night so maybe if we were staying longer it would be worth complaining.
The check-in was friendly and the location of the hotel was great. We walked everywhere.

Parking is nonexistent, hand to valet parking. (Not a fan) Property is clean and staff is friendly. Easy access to local restaurants. Great one on site (Broken Keel) food was delicious!

Beautiful historic hotel in the middle of the river street downtown historic area. Did not need to drive anywhere. The music from river street was a little loud but basically quieted down around 11 so not too bad. Micah, the valet enployee, was awesome!

The room and property were really quaint. Very old charm but in fantastic condition. They really make it historic and clean. It is old so there is a bit of a musty odor. The restaurant was awful tho and the valet parking is $50 which is stupid.

well our room was directly under the check in desk with old wooden flooring.. say no more. creeky noise walking around ect, We had some uninvited guests Bugs told the desk about the noise they said they had ear plugs for us or a noise machine lol. Said would tell the housekeeper about the bugs after we leave?? Front desk people are young and don’t know hospitality..
