Roosevelt Inn Mount Rushmore

Great location for a visit to Mount Rushmore. Hotel was clean and had private sitting areas. Nice views. Clean. Breakfast was adequate. Seating was not. If weather had been nice we would have eaten outside. Cute little town. Lots of things to do that are different. Zip line, inflatable activity. Shopping quirky shops.

Very cute hotel! Delicious complementary breakfast and offers coffee and water all day and night. Walking distance to the restaurants and stores nearby. Adventures for kids and parents right next door and across the street. Would definitely stay again.

The Roosevelt is clean, comfortable and easy to find. The breakfast was excellent and the staff always friendly.

The hotel was nice, it was a unique property in a great location. The water pressure in the bathroom was superb! The only thing we did not like was the bed. It was a little too hard. Other than that it was a good hotel!

Checkin was smooth. Room was clean. Convenient location to area activities. Parking was a challenge as it seemed fully booked. There’s only one elevator for the hotel so we took the stairs more often. Breakfast was good with hot items (sausage, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal).

The hotel is ideally located 5 minutes from Mt. Rushmore. The staff were receptivity friendly and helpful. Our room had a king and 2 twin beds, which was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. The beds were fairly hard so not super comfortable and the hotel itself is definitely looking a little dated. That being said, the staff, as mentioned, was incredible and the hotel was within walking distance of the main strip and super close to Mt. Rushmore. We were there for one night as part of a longer road trip and it was perfect for our needs and what we wanted to do in the area.

We LOVED the area. There were so many things to do and places to eat within walking distance. That was the reason I booked a room here. ALL of the staff were wonderful! They were kind and went the extra mile. The continental breakfast was a step up from normal carb load continental breakfast. I was so happy to see fresh cut up watermelon and different kinds of nuts. The scrambled eggs with peppers were very good. My husband loved the all the different options. Now the not so good: Perhaps we just got a room that is not that the walls were thin but we heard EVERYTHING from our upstairs neighbor and the neighbor to the side of us. When our upstairs neighbor walked to the bathroom, flushed the toilet...EVERYTHING. We also literally heard our side neighbors conversations...yes really. When I read reviews so many people said it was quiet & well insulated walls...nope not our room. We were on floor 4 in a king at the end of the hallway. Lastly our jetted tub was dirty. :( So, when booking make sure you ask for a quiet room, if that is important to you.

Great price, clean updated hotel. It has the feel of an old school resort with updated rooms and great hospitality. When we had to leave early because of illness the front desk clerk was so sweet concerned about how we were doing. Highly recommend.

Charming hotel. Great location

This place was a good pick as we had many to choose from. The staff were friendly and gave us suggestions on where to eat and go. The hotel is situated perfectly so you can walk or drive to places really quick. The room was nice and the breakfast was okay. Right across the street is a Zipline and adventures, so it was nice watching the people go zip lining.
