My sister and I stayed nights at the hotel. It was very close to Universal Studios. I enjoyed the gym in the morning. We had dinner at Shogun, which was in the hotel everything we needed as in the drugstore restaurants in souvenir gift shops were in a walking distance.

Staff is very nice and friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are little bit old and bathrooms are tiny. No tv guide. The area has tons of walkable dining options like Applebees chilis dairy queen kfc ihop waffle house etc.
and free shuttle for universal and back (ask for time table)
the security guard is such a vibe. Very friendly and sweet.
No free breakfast.instead they have a breakfast buffet not included i think its like $23 dollars per person. Thats one of the disappointing factors.
They do have a mini mart/store for some food items like sandwiches.
The bar wasnt open when we wanted to have a drink there around 3:45pm on a sunday.
I didnt ask what time the bar is open.
Its affordable. Has small fridge, microwave, blow dryer.
The ice machine is however is located only on the 8th floor.
Theres laundry on every floor for a fee and need to buy soap (i think)
It was good for a 2 day stay.

Beads are too small size. We booked for four of us. They said each bed can fit two guest but in single bed we had to adjust two. For this we has to took one extra bed for one night cos one our member stying for one night, when we booked they said we can have the extra bed for one night after one night they didn’t take it out from the room when we asked they said you have to take and pay for entire stay. That did not make any sense.
The Bathroom is too small. I never seen this type of tiny bathroom in any Hotel.

Everything about this hotel is lovely - the people, the value, the quiet and safety. I've stayed here so many times and have felt great about each stay. I'd you're looking for a budget friendly hotel that will deliver in comfort, I highly suggest this one. Both Simon and Star were extremely helpful but every single person we encountered on our trip was great! They also treat travelers with pets with care and concern, and never once made us feel like we were a burden. Same with accomodations for my disability! Love them!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and both times were great. The staff was super friendly, and quick with service. The rooms were comfortable. They do offer shuttles to Universal, but it is close enough to drive yourself or even walk if you wanted to! The only downfall on my stay was housekeeping kept turning the room temp up. I tried to keep it around 65-66, as I like to enjoy a chilled room after being in the heat all day. Everyday I would come back and find the temperature turned up past 70. The final day they turned it all the way up to 74. This was mighty annoying as the room was uncomfortably hot everytime I would get there. The only other thing I would recommend is maybe some air fresheners for the hallways. Each floors hallway has its own unique ‘scent’ and not necessarily in a good way. If you’re looking for a place close to Universal that’s not outrageously expensive, this would be the place for you!
