“I had an amazing stay at this property! The staff was great and the overall experience was wonderful. The only small things I noticed were that a few times after housekeeping, fresh towels or washcloths were missing, and the toilet in the bathroom could use a little attention. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic and I truly enjoyed my time here!”

We had a huge roach in our room. They only took the rash out 2 out 5 days. They only did our bed one day out 5 days we were there.

Upon our arrival at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, we were met by a receptionist who showed no cordiality and was clearly in a very bad mood to be there. After a few minutes of limited conversation and some questions to which the response was “read what’s written there”, she assigned us a room. Upon entering the room, we found someone inside taking a shower. We went back down and reported the incident to the receptionist, who doubted our word. We then requested to return there with a security guard. A woman from the hotel’s security team went back to the room with us and found the door open, the lights off, but with a strong smell of cigarette smoke.
As it was already past 4 a.m., and there was nothing else we could do since the hotel had already charged us for the first night, we asked for another room on a different floor. This new room had a musty smell, but there was nothing more we could do. Honestly, if you are looking for a low price and don’t mind what I’ve described, you can try your luck at this hotel. I, however, will never return.

I feel like I was catfished with this hotel. The pictures all show a hotel that has doors inside the building so I assumed that’s where we’d be staying. (As a single woman traveler I feel safer staying in that style hotel and rely on pictures to make sure that’s the style). But we arrived and there’s a second building with doors on the outside. And naturally, that’s where our room was. It was okay, until about 10pm when people started rolling in after parks closing. It was LOUD, we sleep with a white noise machine but it still sounded like we had the door and windows open. It was constant noise from 10 till at least midnight. We were booked for two nights but ended up leaving for the second in favor of our own beds and a quiet sleep. Thankfully we’re semi-local and had that option.
That being said. The staff members were lovely! The front desk worker chatted with us about theme park happenings. And when I called about a broken tv, maintenance came within 15 mins and brought in a new one!
I will not be staying again. But if you’re a very heavy sleeper and feel safe staying in a hotel with doors on the outside, it would work in a pinch.

The pictures and rooms they show online on Travelocity are of their newer very nice building. But… it’s a bait and switch. There’s another old, smokers haven building with old rooms. That’s where we were put. Very disheartening after a long day at Universal.

It was great right off the bat. They let me check in almost 3 hours early and had the nicest staff I've encountered in a long time. They had a very clean and maintained pool which was perfect after a long day at the parks. It was also very park convenient.
