Salt Lake Plaza Hotel SureStay Collection by Best Western

The front desk person working on the 15th of March was very rude. I called down for a late check out at 630 am and he responded with “I can’t authorize that, you are ungrateful” and then hung up on me. I’ve been waiting for the hotel to reach out about how I was treated. Just even an apology and have gotten nothing.

We loved how we had great meeting rooms for our conference. It was a perfect size hotel and a GREAT location. Our view was GREAT. Loved the microwave & fridge. Bed was very comfortable. The sink was very slow draining which should be addressed and the tub could use more calk. WOW - the elevators were fast and it seems we hardly waited even being on the 11th floor. Appreciated all the plugs especially next to the bed. Parking was great. The location was PERFECT to Temple Square and the mall. Plenty of places to visit and eat. THANK YOU!!!!

I love this hotel.

It's a reasonably decent hotel in a great location near the Delta Center.

It went rather smoothly until I could not get out of the parking due to a wrong QR code on the parking pass (not free). I had to find a parking spot, ran back to the front desk to get another one, fearing I would be late for an appointment. No apologies, a curt "it works now".

Place was nice, but needs a revamp.

Felt the place a little dated, but room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was badic but ok. Gift shop on site was great. Would stay again.

The hotel is just old. Room was nice size and WiFi was good. Just around the corner from the FamilySearch library which is why I was there. They have a small breakfast room that you pay for your items. Otherwise you must walk a ways to find food. There is a Marriott just down the block with a Starbucks in it. Probably more expensive but a lot nicer. The light rail stops right outside the hotel so that’s very convenient. Not the hotel’s problem but there are many unhomed people around, which is a little scary for a solo woman traveler. Nobody bothered me tho. The Temple is undergoing a 3-year project to strengthen it against earthquakes. As a result, the temple is surrounded in scaffolding so you can’t really see the outside of it. I was there to do genealogy research so I didn’t plan on visiting the temple. The people at the family search library are tremendous. The facilities are amazing and it’s all free.

Old mattress was sagging in the middle, and over-sized pillows made my neck crick upwards, couldn't flatten down the pillow. Bad night's sleep. Hotel is about sleep.

Very outdated. Ceiling in the bathroom was patched, never sanded and painted. Feels like construction. Great view from the room

We had to make a family emergency trip. In all the chaos the wr9ng dates were booked. They helped us, gave us a medical discount (primary children's hospital family emergency). The staff was kind, understanding and made a rough day end a lot calmer. Thank you !!

Great location to walk to mant restaurants and the delta center, the room was decent, but no fan in the bathroom, tv was not high definition, and parking is 10 dollars. Good for a budget minded person though.

Easy access, close to City Creek Mall and restaurants. Nice motel

Very nice hotel. Clean comfortable room. Bed and pillows are exceptional. Room includes a nice chair. Views of the capital. Check in was pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel. Room includes breakfast.

Convenient location, clean room, good a/c. Older hotel in need of updating. Breakfast to go was very expensive for what you get ($8 for cereal)

The hotel is a little dated, but it offers ALOT of value in down town SLC. It's location is great for the convention center and close by areas
