THEY TOOK THE COFFEE MAKERS OUT OF THE ROOMS SO NOW YOU ARE FORCED YO BUY COFFEE FROM THAT NEW COFFEE CAFE AND ITS NIT EVEN GOOD. THE BREAKFAST IS GOOD BUT PLEASE PUT THE COFFEE MAKERS BACK IN THE ROOMS

The entrances from the boardwalk into the hotel smelt like pure urine. At one point other guest of the hotel exiting to boardwalk warned use to not breath. However, we already had or nose covered to walk in.
The rugs near the Lucky Snake all had tap hold them together.

Horrible Experience – Don’t Waste Your Time or Money!
Absolutely terrible stay at the Showboat. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and the so-called “upgrade” was not worth it—even if it was free. Whoever owns or manages this property seriously needs to hand over the torch because the current leadership clearly isn’t working.
Only 3 out of 6 elevators were operational, which meant long, frustrating wait times. The “updated” room we were given was a joke—sloppy work and poor quality all around. If that’s what they consider an upgrade, I’d hate to see the standard rooms.
Would never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone. There are far better options in Atlantic City.
I should be credited my expedia points i used to off set the price back to my account.
The pictures on expedia are not what the rooms really look like.

Extremely Disappointed Unsafe, Unsecured, and a Total Scam
From the moment we walked in, the property smelled mold. When we got to the room, we opened the cabinet and saw visible mold. The AC unit was full of dust, and I couldn’t stop sneezing all night. The air was unclean and unhealthy this was a serious health hazard. I booked two rooms and asked for them to be on the same floor. They couldn’t do that and only offered to change one room to a king bed, which didn’t work for my family. No real effort was made just take it or leave it. We checked in late, and there was no TV remote in the room frustrating with kids. I called the front desk five times and got no answer. When I finally walked down, the night lady kept saying I don’t know to everything. I asked for help multiple times, and her only response was: Please see the manager after 11 AM. I couldn’t even sleep properly and had to get up early just to try to get basic issues fixed. The phone in the room didn’t work no buttons to dial, just a number that couldn’t be used. There was no way to reach help, and the place felt unsecured and poorly managed. Basic amenities were either missing or broken, and the service was beyond unacceptable. Management clearly doesn’t care. This place should not be considered a hotel it feels more like a run-down, unmanaged motel. This place is dirty, unsafe, unacceptable, and honestly feels like a scam. It’s crazy how they continue to operate like this. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

It was horrible. The elevators sound like they were going to break. When the doors would open the elevator was still moving. There were people sleeping in the hallways where the doors room were. When we first went to our room the door was open. There was someone’s hair clips and hair in the bathroom. It smelled like weed and cigarettes I was in a non smoking room. When I went to pick my car up the valet guy parked my car behind three cars with no one in it so I had to wait 45 mins to leave

I hated that the rooms don’t have microwaves. Food is expensive and can’t even save any if you get full bcuz u can’t warm it up..! Vending machine and ice machine weren’t working on my floor I’m unsure of other floors

Although the hotel was very clean, when walking in the property, the rug smelled like mildew. The bed was a nice size king mattress but it tore my boyfriend’s back up because it was so low. I love the family oriented atmosphere the most.

Took my kids for vacay. Room i booked did not match room i got. I had to change rooms because it smelled so bad in my room. No pool unless you pay
For expensive waterpark. Ice machines leak and are out of order. Hallways smell like mildew. ac in rooms max at 75 degrees and they leak and bang all night. Arcade games all scam- did not win one prize. Would not recommend.

The location of the room was great on the south eastern side of the building,so the sunrise was amazing. As for the room itself not impressed by it at all first called room service for a few pillows never came.the ceilings had paint chips for a wet spot in drywall the smell of musty air to go with everything.
