I loved my 2 recent stays at Sitka Hotel. VERY quaint and perfect sized. Never had issues from bar next door, and I stayed during the week and on the weekend. Close to great food spots and store.

Check-in was done by one very young, but nice man. Nowhere to get coffee while we waited an hour for our room. Actually there is a nice sports bar/restaurant next door, but no one told us until we overhead a guest talking about it! The Mean Queen. Rooms have a nice view of ocean and eagles flying.in room coffee is nice, and beds were excellent

Hotel was in a good location, rooms are big with kitchenette, but the downsides are the lack of competent staff and outdoor noise.
It took a hour to check in to hotel. We arrived before 1400 and immediately upon walking in we were just told check in isn’t until 1500 - no problem, held our bag- came back after 1500 and the agent was unable to assign us a room without the manager had to wait for them to arrive and the manager instead of acknowledging us and assisting us to our face went to their office and continued to text / call front desk to assign us a room. No hospitality / customer service by anyone, and it did not get better. The noise is not hotel fault at all but good for people to know- right next to bar that has back doors open, fun bar but loud if trying to sleep. Hotel bar is great! Grab a beer and enjoy!

The location is good, but the hotel needs updating. Online descriptions are not an accurate representation of actual room. Rooms are very small, and get hot and stuffy - no fans or a/c. Every time someone in a nearby room shut their door, our hand soap/lotion dispenser would fall off the mirror in the restroom. Front desk staff hardly looked up from their phones to acknowledge customers.

The airport shuttle is nice. Room are dated but the beds are very comfortable. Our tv was not working and front desk changed it out himself.

Pros: bed was comfortable, staff did good job.
Cons: terrible location. Hotel is located next to a bar that is open until 2am and the music is very loud. A food truck is just outside the bar do you get noise from band/music in the bar and loud voices at the food truck. I went to front desk and asked to be moved. Answer was no because hotel will be full tomorrow. My stay was 2 days, the least they could do was move me to another room that night but they refused.
