Our stay was in mid February and the room air conditioners were disabled. Too hot in room though and couldn't open a window!

The hotel lobby and restaurants were extremely cold. We had to eat dinner with our coats on.
The oatmeal was stone cold. The waitress was very gracious but it had to be
sent back twice.

It was nice. Cons: A much older and worn property. You have to pay $7/night for internet service, which seems a bit much. Pros:The food was delicious and it was located close to downtown.

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our initial room did not have heat and after a check by the maintenance engineer they quickly moved us to another room after making sure the heat was working in that one. We ate at the restaurant and had a great tasting meal with more great service. Definitely the place to stay in Spartanburg.
