SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown / Historic District

Room was awesome but bed and pillows were too soft for my wife and I. Otherwise, we would recommemd this hotel

Decided to stay here for the night during our family weekend trip due to its connivance/walkability to stores and restaurants. Pros: Front desk attendant was friendly, bed was comfortable, hotel is in a ideal location, called the front desk for a extra blanket and it was brought up to us quickly Cons: Vallet service was rude. Parking for the hotel is vallet only and $40 a day. Vallet attendant got an attitude when we said we'd go park somewhere else. We ended up parking 2 streets away at a parking garage that's $5 a day (much better than the $40 a day at the hotel). We were put in a room on an upper floor by the elevator and were woken up 3x during the night from loud guests blasting music and yelling in the hallways. One of these times (around 2am) we called the front desk, but a couple hours later it happened again. The hotel door also doesn't fully close--there is a 1-2 inch gap from the bottom of the door to the floor where someone could slip something through if they wanted (this probably contributed to the noise issue). Light from the hallway shown through it during the night and it was annoying given where the bed is positioned. The shower and toilet are also in separate rooms and neither have a locking mechanism on the door.

Excellent hotel. Very clean . Staff was very friendly. Great location . The bar had great food . Breakfast was good also . No complaints concerning my stay . Would definitely stay again .

A great place to stay. From the concierge, to the valet parking attendants, room service staff, and breakfast crew, you will not find a more pleasant, helpful, friendly, or welcoming group of people. I loved my stay and will be recommending for sure.

Very nice hotel

Valet parking should be free or much cheaper than $40.

We were there for SCAD parent weekend and the prices were much higher than normal, but the hotel was close to SCAD.

Great location to SCAD and shopping. Staff was welcoming and attentive.

Found hair in the sink; and the Iron did not function well

Right outside the front door is a homeless camp. The air conditioner fan in the room sounded like a warehouse fan so so loud. Duvet was a full size on a king size bed. The air vent was encrusted with dirt. The hair conditioner bottle was empty and fell off the wall. There was no soap in the shower. We had to ask the front desk for coffee cups. The breakfast was standard free breakfast. The restaurant was limited. We ordered the toasted cheese sandwiches mine was to have apple slices but the slices were the end pieces. The chip were from the bottom of the bag crumbs. Do not recommend or will stay there again.

My father in law loved his stay here for our wedding.

Do not hesitate booking a room at this hotel. The location is perfect if you want to explore downtown Savannah. It's close enough to the water and a short 15 minute walk to Forsyth Park. The hotel staff were fabulous - really friendly every time you walked through the door. The room itself was really clean and had everything we needed. The entire hotel was absolutely spotless. We even took a dip in the hot tub. The pool area was clean and inviting. The continental breakfast was similar to other hotels. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!
