Location is awesome and very easy access to the beach! Also, close enough to Diamond head and shopping area. Even though it’s not a luxury hotel, I would like to stay again and recommend you because of great location, friendly people, and affordable price!! Only the reason why 4 starts on facility is the washing machine was not available at the time.

After arriving on the island at 11am and heading on the #20 bus from the airport ($3), I found the hotel around 1pm and went to see if I could check in. They had my room ready which I was very glad about and was able to check in (thank you, Mahalo). There is a resort daily charge which there is in all hotels nowadays but I knew about it as it was on everything I had read and also I received an email from the host about it - $15 plus tax per night and it covers all the incidentals.
My room (805) was on the top floor accessible by an elevator. The room was clean and had a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave in it, a wardrobe area with an iron and board and a bath. There was a balcony which faced out onto Uluniu Ave and Shorfyre bar.
In the lobby there were coffee pod machines available during the day and there was a karaoke bar if you’re into that kind of thing.
You can borrow beach towels from the host (with your room number) and it’s about a 3 minute at most walk to Waikiki Beach.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if I found myself back in Honolulu.

I like that there is a laundry you can use, it is close to everything, staff are okay, free coffee and water are nice too. There is no other amenities, just to sleep is okay, Air conditioner is not functioning well so it is still warm in the room, there’s not enough outlets to use. TV just serves as “background noise” as everything you have to pay even for very old movies. I would stay in a hostel rather for the price I paid for and the additional resort fee per night.

We stayed for 4nights 5 days and the sheets were never changed the did clean the room and put fresh towels but overall the rooms are very outdated old and furniture is not in great condition the only good thing its so close to the beach

Definitely a place if you want to stay in a budget the curtains are not black out. It’s very very very noisy. You won’t sleep until 4 AM. At least there is a karaoke/bar on the first floor of the entrance so it is very loud. Do not recommend for a family maybe for a couple or one person stay for only four days max and that’s if you don’t want to sleep but overall, it’s a budget safe and very close to everything location

The hotel room had an old-style design, which gave it a dated feel. The windows were glass-rolled, and unfortunately, they did not provide good sound insulation. As a result, the room was quite noisy, making it difficult to get a peaceful night’s sleep.

The room itself was nice, the bathroom was smaller than anticipated, but the parking in the area is horrendous. There is a $50 fee for parking onsite, that is not mentioned until you book but if that is full, there is no parking near the hotel. We ended up having to park on the street and Uber to the hotel, which was not desired.

We had a good experience. Good value. Employees were nice. Great proximity to the beach and restaurants. They have towels, chairs, and beach equipment for guests free of charge. If using hotels.com, they charge you an extra fee of $18 per night which you pay at check in. Some noise from parties and construction, but not too bad.

Hotel is conveniently one block away from the beach! Location is superb. The bar club in the front was always busy and nice to go. The only recommendation is to make sure the tv cable boxes are located somewhere where the remote can detect. We spent half our vacation thinking the remote didn’t work but it was actually because the cable box was behind the refrigerator

This hotel is in an excellent location, its only one block away from the beach so about a 3min walk. The hotel itself is basically a 2 star hotel, think of a backpackers hostel but your own room, it's very basic but clean and half decent shower. I hope they renovate this place as it has so much potential. I do recommend to bring ear plugs as it can be quite noisy at night, I would definitely stay here again, if you're someone who only needs the basic sleep place, somewhere clean, safe and has a shower and you wont be in the hotel all day then book this place, it's no frills but worth it. It does have a mini bar fridge and tv in the room. This will be my new hotel for transit layovers, I wish I knew it existed earlier.

I liked that this property had a balcony, one block from the beach and walking to distance to shopping, food vendors, and the staff was friendly. The only thing about my room was that the phone didn’t work, the ironing board was wobbly, and the bed wasn’t that comfortable. But I would stay here again definitely because all in all my stay went well.

Hotel.com stated there was parking.... they lied. Also make sure that your name matches your alia name on hotel.com this hotel will not let you claim your paid hotel room if your id doesnt match your online alia name you use on hotel.com. also told the front desk person where i can park and they said overnight parkingnis in thebarea.... cost me 89 dollars a night. Horribke experienced. Had to carry our belongings back to the parking lot to and fro because no place to park.
