Hotel property was well kept. Staff was friendly & on top of things, overall. Small hiccup in the laundry area was resolved rapidly! Bed was a little firm for my taste, but otherwise room was great. Breakfast staff seemed stressed & a little out of sync, but it could've been a busy day.
There is a train nearby (edge of the property) & it sounded the horn in the middle of the night. Be aware of that, if loud noise concerns you. Otherwise the property was quiet. Beautiful river side setting, with flowers & nice seating area.

Paid extra for a view of the river, but did not know the train was in the backyard. Very noisy. The hotel is very nice, but the train is a problem. There was also a very strong chemical smell is the room. I think maybe too much bleach???

The free breakfast was amazing. It was not your average free breakfast but was tasty and filling with many options. The front staff was nice. The train blowing its horn near by was not my favorite. We also could not get a luggage cart in the morning to get our cooler and heavy gear back to the car because someone had taken the only two they had on hand and never returned them.

It was our wedding night! We brought a part of our wedding cake with us, and ate it using a serving spoon in the suite. When we told the front desk there was no silverware in the room he promptly got us silverware and apologized. Minor inconvenience but made sure we were taken care of.

"Brad" was especially accommodating when I needed a quick bite before departing earlier than breakfast began. Just a bagel and some cream cheese in a ziplock, but much appreciated. Thank you!

Our room was spacious & quiet. The kitchen was great & had everythingwe needed. We used it a lot due to attending a graduation. A few things were dated, the sheers in the living were ripped. Having a night light in the bathroom that could be turned off would be great because it shines into the bedroom. Not the hotel's fault, but the train the goes by 30 feet from our bedroom window, blows it's whistle & causes the room to shake made for hard sleeping.
Breakfasts were fantastic & the staff everywhere were friendly & responsive.
