Stoney Creek Hotel Columbia

Not as clean as I was expecting. We wound up taking home Bed Bugs with us! Just was not nice overall.

said bar and lounge and hot tub but hot tub not working and no lounge just bar it was high priced they did have breakfast it was ok.

The kids loved the pool. There were a couple of birthday parties going on so it was busy but still fun. The cottage room was great.

Enjoyed my stay. The room with the jacuzzi is amazing. The bartender was an absolute amazing person ans she was awesome. Staff at the front desk was super friendly and the stay was comfy and welcoming.

There was so much wrong air conditioner did not work,mini ref, the rooms stunk, There was 9 of us and 2 big rooms there was not enough wash rages or towels, Things was just bad this is the first place where l have stayed that just bad to begin with.

This place is only good for low class people. These degenerate people aee in abundance. They are loud and rude. When we pulled into the property some of these dirty people were blaring obnoxious music in the parking lot. The elevators were broken. The jacuzzi was broken. The pool was nasty! There were at least a dozen infants in the pool. Too many little kids to count. Wierd creepy people chugging beers. The hallways were visiblely dirty. The room smelled of pot smoke. The sink immediately clogged. The wallpaper was peeling off all over and in the bathroom. The towels were rough. The overall feel of the room was gross, you could feel it on your skin. The overall decor of the hotel and room is extremely dated. It probably hasn't been updated since the 80s. Gross!!! Pretty sure we witnessed a drug deal in the stairway. We had to use the stairs because the elevator was broken We stayed in the hotel for a total of an hour and half. We checked out losing the miney for the night. We planned to stay another night but canceled that reservation. The front desk girl didn't even ask why we were leaving right after we arrived. There were people lightening off fireworks in the parking lot. Little kids were climbing on my vehicle. Thier disgraceful mothers didn't care. Truely disappointing! Very very gross! Please stay away!

Staff was very friendly. The place is cute, but outdated, the floors in the rooms were filthy looked like they haven’t been vacuumed between guests, plumbing in the sink and shower was also an issue

We had a great stay. There was a convention happening the day we stayed. We noticed all the employees were very nice and professional. Great job all!

We had a few inconveniences during our stay. The bathroom sink didn’t want to drain. The air was broken the first night - it was a hot night and very damp in our room. Thankfully a wonderful maintenance worker fixed it the following day after we had to ask the front desk twice for help. The maintenance worker was very friendly and helpful. We asked for delayed checkout for my daughter to have somewhere to stay while I was in a class. We were willing to pay. The front desk was unwilling to accommodate in anyway.

Nice location, felt safe, nice grassy areas to walk with my dog. People very professional and friendly. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I didnt get to enjoy the breakfast as it opened at 7am. I needed to check out prior, so it would have been nice if it opened at 6. I will stay here again on my trip back home. Overall very enjoyable and fairly priced.

Staff and accommodations

Hot tub not working,pool area too hot no AC in pool area. The property looks run down

We showed up to a room that smelled like diarrhea. Found a bag of poopy diapers in the room… as well as dirty towels over the shower. The room also had a dog pee smell and an AC unit with mold and a sound that kept us up all night. The dresser drawers wouldn’t stay shut and the mini fridge kept opening. Went to take a shower and there was hand wash instead of body wash in the shower… and it was empty. Someone came and cleaned the room the best they could and we aired it out. They gave us a new room the next day because they were full that night. Much better, but the mini fridge door would keep opening… opened in the middle of the night and had to throw our food out. I don’t think we will be returning.

This is a great hotel. Loved the lodge theming. The staff were friendly and helpful. My mother is diabetic and I forgot to get some orange juice for her in case her blood sugar drops during the night. The staff allowed me to get a cup of orange juice from the breakfast area. They were so kind and helpful.

Online booking easy. Checked in via email/text. Not much weight at the desk. The remote on my TV initially didn't work and they promptly replaced it. Room was clean and quiet. Temperature control was easy. Hot water was hot and came quickly when I showered. Can't ask for more! Breakfast was great!

Room was clean, bathroom was clean, lobby and commons area clean, breakfast was great and delicious.
