Great location, right along the Riverwalk, which is close to restaurants and bars, especially Armiture Works. The Barrymore is in a very safe and clean area. Beds were super comfortable. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Plus, there's a free shuttle to Ybor City, a must to visit.

The hotel was strange to me. the lobby was beautiful but once you got past that the hotel was drab. perfectly clean though and the staff was rxcellent

I would have to say it is overall a slight dated hotel. Some usual wear and tear here and there but completely manageable.
Really nice that it is pretty close to the convention center and other shops near there. Walkable. Right next to the Riverwalk, great for morning runs. Will be back

I was disappointed in the workout room. Missing were foam rollers and mats. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and the thermostat seemed to be off. It was very cold even when set at 72. Wait time for elevators at peak times was bad due to only two out of three working the whole week. There was no safe in the room. The bed was comfortable and daily housekeeping was excellent and the towels thick and generous. Only ate in the restaurant once for breakfast and it was good. The location is good with easy access to the riverwalk.

The Gaudin restaurant and the staff were great. Mohammed was an excellent host. Julian at the front desk was very knowledgeable of the area and very nice and helpful. Everything was close by including the university of Tampa campus. Nice place to stay if on a college visit. The area was safe and quiet. The linens, pillows were very comfortable and clean and service was very good.

The rooms were clean. The hotel is in a great location- walkable to activities at the riverwalk and also restaurants and town attractions such as the Glazer's Children's Museum. Outdoor pool is not heated but it's nice enough. We would've at the hotel restaurant more often but felt it was lacking. No free breakfast, but they do offer a complementary cup of coffee. Overall a lovely choice.

I’m from the Tampa Bay area and had never heard of this hotel so I saw it had ok reviews and decided to stay here when downtown for a conference. The pictures are deceiving! While the lobby looks nice, it does not transfer to the remainder of the hotel. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and the room was VERY dated, everything is painted in a hideous sunshine yellow. The bedskirts and curtains were dingy and worn and the room had an overall dirty feeling. There was only 1 plug on the light (no USB ports). No complimentary water and the ice maker was broken in my floor. Also, I found out this hotel is overflow for the university of Tampa students. I did find the shuttle convenient.
I will not be staying here again…
