I’ll admit, after reading other reviews I was nervous, but I booked anyway. I found this property to be MUCH BETTER than those reviews. If you are expecting a 5-star resort at this price point, that is on you. If you want a clean, solid place to crash after enjoying what Clearwater has to offer all day, for what this property costs, you wont be disappointed. It was ideal for beach access, good restaurants within easy walking distance, nice pool (seagulls do take a dip occasionally but you can’t stop that-It is the beach people!) The beds were comfortable, the balcony was great especially at sunset, there was a fridge and microwave that was nice for leftovers and the office staff were friendly and more than accommodating. Don’t let the negative Karen reviews scare you…unless you are Karen…then pay the extra money for a resort and don’t stay here. Our first room had an issue with the door locking. I went downstairs and they switched rooms, no problem. The ice maker did not work the first day but was fixed the rest of our stay. And THE ELEVATOR DOESN’T WORK. But they emailed 3 times and called twice to let me know. Yes, I walked my luggage up 3 floors, survived, and still enjoyed my stay! They do offer a free continental breakfast-we grabbed bagels and yogurt and hit the beach-it was perfect! I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again! We had a great experience!

We loved everything about our room and our view! The staff was very friendly and helpful…everything was very clean! Our only complaint was the broken elevator but I still would highly recommend!

They did not have a working elevator. Ice machine was broken until our last night then was working. Floor was filthy had to wear shoes the entire time in room. Bathtub was missing overflow cap and it was rusty. The restaurant attached to hotel was closed. Outside hotel looked horrible not like the pictures online. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed here several times in the past but it is a mess now and, would never recommend it to anyone.

Being in the 5th floor with a baby without an elevator is not fun but I was warned of the situation and accepted. The breakfast ok and was nice to have a parking there. The beds and furniture need an upgrade

The pictures did NOT show the truth behind this hotel. The hotel looks beat up and dirty. None of the amenities (bars, restaurants or shops) were open. Beach shop was boarded up and nothings was in working order. The pictures were from a long time ago as everything looked extremely different. Bathroom by the pool was nasty and dirty, very unkept. Beach was NOT AT ALL as shown in the photos. There were 4 to 5 rows deep of blue beach chairs and covered domes. The beach was so crowded you could not find a place to exist. We arrived prior to check in time and waited for our room to be ready by going to the pool/beach. We were so turned off that we just decided to skip our reservation completely and leave. I'm sorry, but it you are expecting what you see in the photos you are very mistaken. Just be aware.

Limited signage for parking and then no signage as to where to check in. Room was sparse and I placed items on the coffee table rather than the couch because it was so unclean looking. Bed too soft.
They did warn me that there was no working elevator and i was placed as asked on the second floor, but my room was at the end of the level with no lighting and made me nervous. Lets just say I slept with the ironing board propped up at the door so if someone entered they at least would trip on it!

The room was perfect for our needs. Loved having the little kitchenette and over looking the pool and ocean. Loved how convenient everything was nearby. There was still sine remodeling and devastation around from the hurricanes. Staff was great. Bars are nearby so it does get a little loud with music til midnight.

Very outdated. Was not repaired after the last storms. Owners do not plan to repair. Run the hotel to the ground and plan to demolish and build a new building.

Based on other reviews I was very sceptical but turned out not so bad at all. The staff was polite, the building is old and ugly compared to other hotels but the rooms are clean and spacious. Directly facing the beach and I could watch the sunset from my balcony. For breakfast I recommend finding another place unless you are okay with a store bought bagel, cereal or pancake. Nothing fancy but good enough to stay there while enjoying beach, restaurants and area. I would stay again.

Property was dirty. Did not stay in room for more than 30 minutes. Staff said we would get full refund. Refund was not given and the whole process was made very difficult. Highly recommend finding different accommodations.
