Lovely converted motel. A little loud with street noise but since it’s not in a busy area not bad. Liked that they had reusable mugs and cups in the room. I did have to store two of my bags overnight because the elevator is out of service but it was a painless process.

I pre-paid for a room and since our flight in was delayed, they sold it to someone else. There were no apologies. She said it was my fault for not calling. I texted before we took off and the response was that the delay was fine. Kinda cute place, but definitely not worth the hassle.

Let's start with the name. The Dylan HOTEL. This is not a hotel by any stretch of the imagination, and it is only outdated laws that allow hotels, motels and inns to be used interchangeably on a business license. The Dylan Hotel is a Motel. Now the details of my one night stay, May 17, 2025 I use a cane to walk. The main door is locked in the evening, you have to call staff to open it. The only other entrance opens with a room key, but has several stairs at a sharp incline leading to the elevator. Risky for me and impossible for a wheelchair. They put me on the third floor, and the next morning the elevator was out. Had to wobble down the stairs to retrieve some help. Needless to say, checked out then and there. Had booked for six days, at what turned out to be their premium rate, because NOTHING in the ads conveyed that this was a MOTEL. Hint: They didn't even have either a refrigerator or microwave! That only came with a $25 extra charge.I was there, as many visitors are to Millbrae, to visit the Colma cemeteries one city over. Because the ads told me so, I believed the Dylan was a boutique hotel with nostalgic touches of the 60s. The ideal spot, so I imagined, to return to after a day of somber reminiscence and family dynamic. Huge disappointment. The Dylan Hotel at SFO is a Motel. An expensive motel. Don't be fooled by the name

Great room, clean, comfy bed. Close to SFO and Taxi/Lyft about $20. The people above us were so rudely noisy/loud TV/pounding walking throughout the evening till at least just past midnight, so rooms didn’t seem well insulated for sound. Without the noisy neighbor, this would have been 5 stars for its category of a close to SFO motel.

The Dylan is our go to Bay Area hotel, not just for airport-adjacent itinerarios, but for most Bay Area travel. Small boutique, tidy, nice design, family-own es, lots of little perks and very good park and fly rates. We ❤️ the Dylan!

Booked for an early morning flight. Perfect location. I liked their no plastic bottle policy. Instead they provide stainless steel bottles and a refill station.
