The Palm Springs Hotel

We loved our one night stay. Wish we had more time there. Little gem in Palm Springs.

Loved the retro decor and ambiance.

They did phenomenal job with pictures because this hotel is nothing like its pictured here. Room are dingy, moldy and super outdated. Doors and windows are barely hanging on. You will have to have really really low expectations if you want to enjoy staying here. We coudnt, my eyes started watering from smell of mold as soon as we walked in. Staff was nice but thats about it

This is basically a renovated motel with 15 rooms (and 9 parking spaces). Pool area is probably the best part. The good: room was clean, large TV, large shower area, beds fairly comfortable, Keurig with coffee provided, plenty of hot water for showers, location good. They gave us a free upgrade from 2 double beds to 2 queen beds. Not so good: room was pretty bare bones, besides 2 beds there was one narrow table/desk under the TV + a small built-in ledge between beds, lights very dim, one old metal kitchen chair, bare tile floor, very little space for clothes (2 small drawers, two 10" rods, 3 small cubbies), shower fixture leaked a lot of water and was hard to keep in position, no window except glass door to pool area but no privacy unless you draw the drapes over that, plus porthole window in bathroom with frosted glass. In short, our room was nothing like the impression given by the brief promotional video on the site. Note that a lot of that video is showing the lobby, not a room. Be sure to check all the amalgamation sites for a better rate.

Small boutique hotel located on the main road near the Palm Springs Tram and I-10. It's small, probably 20ish rooms that all primarily surround the pool and hot tub area. All rooms face out. We went in January it was quiet, but I am sure that in the summer it's quiet busy and more loud since the rooms face the pool. I really liked it, it was the quiet I wanted. If you want a more party atmosphere I am sure there are other hotels for that. This is for people who want to relax and enjoy the quaint atmosphere this hotel provides.

This historic property has been fully renovated. It gives a nostalgic vibe as well as a clean, friendly and comfortable accommodations.

Nice hotels, comfortable and safe

Ok, I want to like this hotel. It definitely has some redeeming qualities, but in no way is it a 9 out of 10 (as I saw when I booked it). For starters, the hotel plumbing needs work. The shower temperature fluctuated significantly mid-shower. Also the bathroom smelled musty all the time and was always damp. The pool area is nice, not big but also not crowded. I hate that they still have physical keys. This seems like such a security risk. I would not stay here again on that issue alone. Also I wouldn't stay here by myself as the parking lot filled up and we had to walk by homeless people to get back. One guy was particularly unhinged and I did not feel safe. I have nothing against them, but it is a security concern.

Property is alright, weird staff, 5 parking Spaces for guests, 18$ security fee 250$ deposit…. Not coming back here

This is a motel not Hotel. There is no entrance or lobby and it is too small for a hotel. It is more like a motel.

It was fine

No restaurant at the property, no breakfast. Old-fashioned key. Outside of the central area. Hotel is tiny and on a busy big road.

Overall had a good stay. The property is older but fairly well maintained. It needs a deep clean (baseboards were dirty) but everything else seemed clean. Only one of the staff wasn’t very friendly but otherwise were 10/10. Maybe wouldn’t stay there in the summer - there is no A/C

My friend and I came to PS for the weekend. I came across this fabulous hotel, and I decided to give it a try. The hotel is quintessential Palm Springs vibe. It was clean, quiet, and close to downtown PS. My only complaint was that it was a little bit too quiet. Which is not necessarily bad. But my friend and I were looking more for a little bit more of an upbeat. We’ve been to PS in other occasions and some of the hotels have DJ’s in the pool area, and definitely more lively. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel for those who want a more serene environment, and those who want a little bit more of a party vibe, this is not the place. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us.
