Really enjoyed our stay at The Restoration, great location and clean! The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

My husband and I stayed at The Restoration for 4 nights and we loved absolutely everything about our stay! The room was very spacious, with a kitchenette and huge bathroom. Very clean, nice decore, cozy pool area, great restaurant on a upper floor. King bed with a comfy mattress and good pillows. Amazing soaps, Shampoo and conditioner provided. Great and handy perks are: complimentary breakfast delivered to your door, non-alcoholic drinks and a shuttle around town. Nothing wood be great without an amazing staff: Angel and William from reception (best check in and accommodating check out), Daniel is a super friendly shuttle driver and helping with everything else around, gave us valuable information about places, Liudmyla from housekeeping doing a very good job. Would definitely stay again!!!

This was my first time staying here and I was extremely impressed with the staff from check in (valet) and checkout. The room was huge and beautiful. I felt like I could live there. The adorable breakfast picnic basket was such a unique little extra that I felt was very “Charleston”. The top floor restaurant was excellent and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed the privacy of the 5th floor rooftop pool as well. I can’t wait to plan my next stay!

Loved the location! Hotel is gorgeous!

The room is a great size. The car for nearby stops was very convenient since it was so hot. The breakfast basket was unusual- it had salami and cheese?? Couple of muffins and yogurt would have been great. Overall a very nice property- will stay again.

Gorgeous property and cool room with unique amenities like cool local snacks in the fridge and complimentary continental breakfasts delivered to our room. Loved the location as well- my new favorite place to stay downtown.

We purposely made a reservation at the Restoration to be in the middle of the city of Charleston so we could walk and see everything that we could in a long weekend. Their website promised a personal experience and their staff didn’t disappoint. From our greeting to our daily service, and the morning surprise that we got every day when we opened our door, we felt at home. 35,000 steps later, we’re very happy we stayed at The Restoration. Great restaurant suggestions too but book ahead.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The place was more like a very nice apt in the city. The location is unbeatable. The food was excellent. We bought the robes because they were that good! Stop looking and stay here! You won’t regret it!

Our favorite hotel!

The Restoration Hotel is a beautiful hotel that has spacious rooms located in a great area near the College of Charleston and King St. Our room had a very comfortable bed with nice linens, a large clean bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a full sized refrigerator, a bar area, some free snacks and drinks, and offers many pay options for drinks and snacks that are actually reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and offers a shuttle service within a two mile radius, which basically gets you to most places on the Charleston peninsula. The hotel is located on Wentworth between St. Phillip, the north to south thoroughfare through the College of Charleston, and King Street, which is loaded with shopping and restaurants. Amenities included a pool on the fifth floor and a rooftop bar/ restaurant with great views. We didn't actually patronize the bar/ restaurant, so we can't speak about the food, but the staff was friendly when we went up to take a look around. Additionally, there is a coffee shop "Rise" on the street level in the hotel that serves regular brewed and specialty coffee drinks such as lattes (latte = 👍). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Charleston.

Absolutely beautiful property, offering the kitchenette and full fridge with complimentary beverages ( and pimento cheese!) was awesome. Best hotel robes I’ve used, pretty centrally located to most major attractions in a 10 minute walk. Front desk staff was a joy to talk to and always helpful with any requests.

We had a two bedroom 2 bath room. The second bathroom shower never worked. We complained many times. Staff would very nicely say they would look into it and it nothing ever happened. No accommodations were made, no room switch offered. The manager was never on site and never returned my many calls and emails. Have never been so disappointed in service. They should have charged our room immediately instead of promising to “send someone”. When we checked out we were told that the wall had to be taken out to fix. Why did we have to spend the weekend in an uncomfortable situation sharing a shower with another couple. We would have never booked it this room. And the no call back from the manager is just inexcusable.

Room was amazing.

The property was in a great location, all the staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. Great coffee shop on site, the bar and restaurant looked good, although we didn’t try as already had reservations. Our 2 bed apartment was very spacious with the added bonus of an outside terrace. Only negative is that there was some staining of the carpets and the paintwork was in need of a refresh.
