The hotel isn’t the worst, but based on the glowing reviews, I expected more. Staff were friendly and check-in/out was smooth, but the facilities left a lot to be desired. Both the pool and gym are much smaller than the photos suggest—especially the gym, which was misleading. The free weights are crammed into a corner with space for just one person. A simple fix would be putting them where the treadmills are and vice versa, but the bigger issue is that the entire floor is shared with the pool and a club lounge that’s off-limits to the majority of people. I get that it’s likely for convenience or profit, but cramming everything onto one floor limits usable space. For a hotel this size, it just doesn’t work.
The pool itself was disappointing—too hot, too small, and likely not serviced as often as it should be. Everyone joked that it felt cooler outside the pool than in it—and it was 90 degrees out, so that says a lot. The elevators were just as frustrating: small, slow, and crowded. Even the staff admitted how bad they are.
The rooms are noisy. Whether it's the traffic outside, the A/C, or fridge, something is bound to wake you up. Adding insult to injury, parking for two nights cost as much as one night’s stay—definitely not included or discounted for guests. Oh and there's no free breakfast, not even continental. So while it technically offers everything a 4-star hotel should, it simply doesn’t deliver on any one of them.
