Those this looks like a motel from the outside. It is such a peaceful place to stay. We booked a room for our family and our dog and we were able to just open our back patio door to an enclosed wooded area. It was all lit up at night and there were fireflies around And the pool and restaurant were right across from our room. There was a beautiful stream on the other side of the wall. Just a really nice area if you like the woods.

The staff was absolutely fantastic and super helpful.
The property is older however they seem to be doing a great job with updating it.
They are really keeping their prices fair and family affordable.

This is an older hotel that has everything you need. Everything was clean. Nice environment with the wooded lot and outdoor space. Breakfast was much better than your typical free hotel buffet. I appreciated how nice the staff that staffed the breakfast.

This place could be amazing.You get what you pay for, please add more signs directions if things are closed . 2 pools , club , 2 restaurants , get all of your supplies before you go to walmart down the street.

Staff is great and the outside bar is wonderful. We stayed in the Tower on this trip as a wedding took over the main building. We found the Tower to be nice, comfortable but someone in an adjacent room to ours was smoking and the smell came through the vent into our bathroom, totally smelling up our room. I contacted the front desk immediately upon entering the room so I wasn’t charged a $250.00 cleaning fee. Also, we found the bed a bit hard and the pillows were not plush but rather solid and uncomfortable. Overall, we had a nice stay, prefer the main building but the Woodland remains our go to for a stay in Wilkes Barre PA

Old Hotel. Not a resort. Badly needs upgraded. No money spent on this place in a long time. Left soon after arrival to find better(and there is) close by. Dirty dishes lying out in the open trash cans and ashtrays overflowing. Will never be back. Would not recommend to anyone.

Overnight trip for my birthday weekend, staff was friendly. The room smelt
Like mildew, was dirty and the bathtub had rust in it. The view of the garden area was beautiful.The nightclub drama/ fights and yelling in the hallways at 2am was completely unnecessary.

Friendly staff. Overall hotel was clean. In need of a few upgrades, which the new owners are in the process of doing. Outdoor and inside pools were nice. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again if visiting the area.
