Tombstone Grand Hotel, a Baymont by Wyndham

Only negative was having to carry my luggage up stairs, no elevator. Other than that, everything was good.

We liked the dog friendly accommodations but loathed the barbed wire like pokey balls my dog picked up while in the designated dog area outside. She was freaking out in the room and we had not clue why. I went to check her out and found about 12 pokey balls around her mouth, on her nose, and throughout her body. These things were gnarly. They were stuck in her skin and I would barely touch them in an attempt to figure out how to remove them and they were stuck in my skin. I notified the desk upon check out but the young girl did understand. She responded with “we just deep cleaned our rooms.” Anyway, a lawnmower won’t remedy the problem as the were low to the ground and high on the grass/weeds. The beds were very comfy, the ac and tv worked, it was clean, and the breakfast was really good (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, oatmeal’s, toast, bagels, muffins, etc). I’d go back with my dog but stay away from the dog area outside.

The entire room was dirty, my boys took showers and by the time they got in bed (only walking in the room) their feet were BLACK! There were bugs in the room my son got bit in the bed. The sheets had pubic hair in them.

No soap in room

Nd had no elevator. At 70 yrs old, hard to drag a big suitcase up the stairs. The pool and hot tub were closed… I chose this hotel because our little god child was wanting to swim. They were out f soap, but found a small bottle of body wash. Out of yogurt which our little one was talking about getting at breakfast. On the good side, it was peaceful and we slept good. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.

The bedpost the property was very comfortable. We were just 5 minutes outside of Tombstone AZ. Unfortunately, the pool closed after our first night, there wasn't any soap in our room. It turns out there wasn't soap in ANY rooms because they never received the shipment. Also the free breakfast was wonderful on Saturday morning, but Sunday morning they were out of yogurt and fresh fruit. I would stay at this hotel again if I'm in the area, but I would hope they would be well stocked!!!

Friendly staff, great town, great service and prices. We would definitely stay there again.

This place surprised us. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed super comfortable. Breakfast was a full hot breakfast! There was also a nice small pool, hot tub and fire pit outside. I'd stay here again.

With the options available, it was the best.

This hotel was excellent. It was very clean and renovated.

The receptionist was prepared and waiting with keys in hand. She furnished maps for the town, offered suggestions for dining downtown. A wealth of information for all the tourism we were seeking. Friendly and so accommodating!

We booked two rooms under the same itinerary number and listed the guests accordingly. I tried to check everyone in as we had been in tombstone participating in the reenactment, as it was my credit card that paid for the room along with any incidentals. Not one time was my ID ever checked, but when I tried to check my brothers room, all of a sudden, you were thinking we were trying to commit some massive fraud. The hotel offered absolutely zero help, but thankfully, with a five minute phone call to Expedia, they were able to change the reservation and problem was solved. It was funny that I got an email from the hotel General manager praising that his front desk was able to solve my problem. The rooms were clean, but there were holes in the walls, frayed carpet, damaged furniture, breakfast was pitiful. We also were hassled when we attempted to buy incidentals (soft drinks as we were attempting to enjoy the pool that night) And even though they took my credit card for an incidental, they wouldn’t let my charge anything to the room with my room key and we won’t even start trying to get a receipt the next morning, showing that our bill has been zeroed out. This whole front desk team seems to need a review in how to treat customers, and we definitely won’t be back.

Property and room were clean and comfortable. Check in staff was short/rude and inattentive.

This is the nicest place in Tombstone .

We had a wonderful stay over Mother’s Day weekend! The staff were so friendly and simply wonderful, especially spending their time away from their families. Very clean, comfortable, and pleasant.
