My stay was wonderful. The hotel was a little dated for what I was expecting but for the most part well taken care of. The only issue I really had was my room had a smell and I told them and nothing ever seemed to get down about it. Over all my stay was great and I would stay there again. Slept great!!

The hotel was nice, the room was good size, I have only two complaints, first Expedia said the parking fee was $21 but I ended up paying almost 50 dls. And also the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Very old hotel, smelly hallways like paint smell. Bathrooms were average, no view from room, bed was super uncomfortable and the whole night mattress springs were pinching me in my back. On the top of that there were no parking but only valet and they charged $45, after waited 30 minutes valet person came to pickup and when requested to bring car back it took another 25 minutes, super uncomfortable. Will never stay here, price was too high when there were better options available, I took very bad decision this time, fake rating on expedia. I don’t know why Marriott collaborated with this property.

The staff was extremely friendly here. We also loved how walkable it was. The Alamo and River Walk are a 3 minute walk from this hotel. E Houston Street is really nice at Christmas. The hotel property itself needs to be repainted. Lots of paint scratched off doors. The door trim was rusted in a lot of areas.

Handicap room, the shower chair kept breaking, very lucky my husband didn’t get seriously hurt. Maintenance and housekeeping were awesome though, they took care of it right away. Property is old and needs upgrades. Room was clean. Thanks Abby.

I paid extra for a larger corner room with a view since it was new years and they sold out. We got the smallest room. With a view of a wall. They said they didn’t need to honor my upgrade since it was a third party.

The bathroom was in a terrible state, with hair scattered everywhere especially in the shower and the rim of the toilet was uncleaned and covered in grime. On the bathroom door, there was a substance that resembled either feces, vomit, or rust—it's hard to tell which. Additionally, a strong waste odor filled the air every time you ran the water or flushed the toilet. Given this filthy place, it simply wasn’t worth the money.

Room looked like a recent renovation of an office space. Window into the oool, which created a bright light at nice. Property management attempted to cover the window with shower curtains, which looked awful and did not block the light. Blackout curtains would’ve been better. Bathroom was super tight; hot water nonexistent on the day we checked out. Poorly done.

Location great. Property feels run down. I got bit by bedbugs in the middle of the night. Although the staff moved me to another room no one was particularly interested in following up with me or being apologetic - I just got a very generic email about the room to be inspected by cleaning staff. I'll never go back!!! Yuck!
