Our stay was nice, excep the housekeeping walked in on us twice without knocking, even after he knew we were still there. Then when we went to check out, we were told someone had already checked our room.

This is nice little waterpark to take the kids too. We are from the area and decided to take my daughter and her friends there for her birthday. It was a quiet weekend so not overly busy. Staff seemed… ok. Just not overly welcoming or helpful- just there to do their job. Ate at the bar and grill and took 20 minutes just to get an appetizer (we were the only table there). I also had to call and get a blanket (mine had literally baseball sized holes in it) they said I was lucky because it was the last one. How do you not have more extra blankets for a facility that large? Honestly- it was nice enough but I would never recommend someone to stay there. Best to stay at Best Western for less money.

When we booked the room, the listing said we would get Waterpark wristbands for everyone included with the purchase of our room. When we arrived it was expressed by the front desk that they only give 4 wristbands with the cost of stay. So I had to buy 2 additional waterpark wristbands when I was upfront about how many people were in my group at booking. Also, there is not a complimentary breakfast. Honestly, we could have stayed at a Best Western for less, had breakfast included and free access to the hotel pool for everyone in our party. We could’ve gone to the Oshkosh public pool for the open swim, kids water playground and wading pool and lazy river as well as water slides for a lot less per person as well.

We left after the first night and went to a different hotel. I had my 6 grandkids there and after 2 1/2 hours in the water park we had to leave due to the levels of chemicals were burning their eyes. we went to the only area for food and although the bartender was nice, she was overwhelmed and our food was brought out and set on the bar getting cold so i went and served the kids myself. We would greatly appreciate a refund for the other 4 nights

We stayed mainly to utilize the waterpark for our 3 kids ages 5, 7, and 8. It definitely has something for all ages- toddler area, hot tub, 2 pretty fast slides, lazy river, ropes course, and play area where a big bucket of water dumps on you. We live in the UP, so this is exciting for us because we don't have any waterparks up there. There are those big animal heads (moose, deer, etc) everywhere. Just want to note that because it's very woodsy, hunter ambiance My issues: rooms are dated, the bathroom was small (sink is outside the bathroom), and the staff were unfriendly at check-in. I liked how comfortable the beds were and the high quality pillows. This is the 2nd time we've stayed and I did not feel very welcomed by the staff both times. So I think they could work on actually greeting their guests and saying something like, welcome to Tundra Lodge, we are so glad you chose to stay here! Or patiently explain where everything is like the restaurant and waterpark. But they seemed annoyed and matter-of-fact. So adjust your expectations and it won't feel as harsh. It is really hot inside the water park part, so you will need to drink lots of water and take breaks because I began to feel dizzy when I realized I was probably dehydrated. If you stay on-site with little ones, I would recommend taking breaks in your room every couple hours possibly to recharge. We skipped the buffet breakfast so I can't comment on the food. Overall, my family had a great time.

No carts available at check in or check out to bring your stuff to room/vehicle. When checking in staff didn’t welcome us, ask if they could help us or say anything to us till we waved for their attention to check in. The second day housekeeping never stopped in to see if we needed garbage’s emptied, fresh towels or anything else stocked. We called down to get new towels brought to our room so we could shower and another blanket because there wasn’t any for the pull out bed in the room, and they asked for us to come grab them instead. When we told them we were in the middle of getting kids taken care of for supper and getting ready for bed they huffed and said it would be a while before they could bring them up. We told them that was fine and we can wait for a while for them to bring them up, that was at about 5pm. At 6:30pm they still had not been up so I called the front desk again and the lady said they couldn’t leave the desk unattended so couldn’t bring them up until 9:00pm. When my sister and I went down to grab the there was one guest walking away and there was 2 people standing at the front desk. When we asked for the towels one of the girls (a shorter black women) attempted to tell us we had to go back to get all the dirty towels before we could get fresh ones. I explained that I had all the dirty towels by the door and I was not running back up to get the dirty towels to get fresh ones. The second girl gave us towels but said they were out of blankets.

How does a hotel of your size run out of toilet paper. I had to run and buy my own. There were one and a half roles in our room when we checked in for a room that sleeps 6. Seriously! And no one came by to even change out the towels or take garbage during our 5 day 4 night stay. No one notified me that i needed to request someone to come. Plus i only had 4 big towels for a room that sleeps 6. Our comforter or blanket had two big holes in it. And there were too many obsticles in the room. Take out all the extra tables and stuff along the wall. That room is too small. It would have given the room a bigger feel.
