I love the customer service, easy check in, the breakfast and the style. What I didnt like was that I didn't know I was renting a dated hotel. Does need new carpet, and updated furniture, or drawers that slide out, not unevenly hang

Did not like cleaning staff knocking at 07:45 and entering our room, even though we had the “ do not disturb “ sign on the outside doorknob. I told the front desk staff about it.

Staff, food, location were excellent. Our neighbors were extremely loud and we weren’t able to sleep until after 1:30 am. A call to front desk who told us to let them settle in as they had just arrived did not help even though I said it was extremely loud.

The stay was okay. It’s an old property and has an old smell. I really like updated, new bathrooms and the rooms have old, titled bathrooms. We found former hotel guests shorts and Popeyes sauces in our room. The rooms need to be tended to much more than they are currently. The ice machine on the 2nd floor doesn't work properly. Staff tends to stand around the front desk in a group talking to each other for hours. Upside, the MAX is right in front of the hotel and two sto p s away from the conference I was attending. Very convenient! However, after reading the good reviews before booking, I was a bit disappointed with the experience.

This was one of fhe worst hotels ever. It was dirty, broken tiles in the bathroom, missing carpet, stains on the walls and ceiling, and a candy wrapper by the bed by previous guests. Don't book here. It truly is terrible. It stinks. No housekeeping. We weren't given a map of the place. The FREE breakfast is garbage. Youd get better food if you go to a shelter. Pool towels were old, small, and also stained.

The hotel itself was fine, but I experienced noise and the odor of smoke from neighboring guests. The thin walls and poorly insulated adjoining door between rooms allowed sound and smell to enter my room, which made it difficult to sleep.

Some if the staff members where not very personable and stingy with some of the complementary items for the room such as sugar. The breakfast was subpar as well with mostly cold items and a pancake machine. For the price I believe it could have been much better for the area it is in.

The hotel is mainly run by students attending Portland State. The housekeeping was quick and responsive and although the hotel suite itself felt it needed a carpet deep cleaning, it was overall a nice stay.

Conveniently located in downtown Portland, but still feels more private & quiet than other hotels nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we found our one-night stay comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but offered some grab & go options for a quick snack.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Sloped down on one side, not a huge deal but the bathroom didn’t have a fan which was odd. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
