West Beach Inn, a Coast Hotel

Checked in at the hotel for the day, moved luggage in room on the third floor. Came back after dinner and the whole place is dark. The front desk with their flashlight informed us they were not informed they will have a blackout. Ask for refund and girl said she has to inform owner. My husband took 3 flights of stairs 2x to get luggage down since I cannot do stairs. Front desk girl helped us call the neighbor hotel who had lights for transfer

Plenty of courtyard & poolside seating, easy parking, wine & cheese, continental breakfast.

Great option with or without kids. Right across the street from the beach. They even lent us a beach umbrella! We did experience that the amount of chlorine put in the pool and hot tub was a little too much for our skin, but others may not have that issue. I would just be mindful if you have kids with sensitive skin.

The room for handicap was not as comfortable. We are not handicap. The beds are much lower which made it difficult to get in and out of and the shower felt odd. We tried not to let water get all over the floor since its an open floor for wheelchair access. For a handicap person the setup would work. It didn't work for us.

We loved staying in the Patio Suite! Made it so convenient for my entire family

Location and and grounds were in excellent shape. Breakfast was a better than usual but only continental breakfast. I would have preferred a bette rate and gone down the street to eat. Rooms are upgraded versions of older motel. The upgrade were very nice and place was very clean. Rooms were a lot smaller than expected from the pics. Prices were a bit high IMHO and likely coose another place next time to save on $. If you are a traveler who spends a lot of time on the grounds with pool and chairs it is ideal. If you are like me, it is a place to sleep, it is not the best choice. Pillows were too high and while they offered 4, they cold have had varied sizes. Beds comfort was moderate. Individual HVACs per room were loud even when it was only a neighboring room. This needs serious upgrades with split system modern quiet units.

Overall good property in a good area

Staff was friendly and always helpful. The rooms were cozy and clean as was the swimming pool. The continental breakfast options were great and we loved the wine, cheese, and crackers they had in the evening. We will definitely be staying there again.

Room to appear to have been recently renovated. They are clean and modern.

This property was OK, nothing special. It is in an amazing area surrounded by incredible properties and everything is within walking distance to an ocean view. I would have given a higher rating if the walls at this hotel were not so thin. We had a ground floor room and the people above us were so inconsiderate and loud that we finally called the front desk to complain. I’m giving a high rating for customer service because the lady at the front desk was very kind and offered us a later check out, but that didn’t do us any good for the lack of sleep because of the noise.

This is my third stay and I love the location in the cleanliness, but my number one of this property is the amazing staff that always go above and beyond. Every single one of them is a winner!

Property is clean and conveniently located. The hotel is a bit dated but the staff are very attentive and friendly.

The front desk guy (with glasses can’t remember his name) was very nice and helpfu with his recommendations around the area and with my luggage. He was able to correct my room accommodation made through Expedia. The only thing I didn’t like was that our room was not clean by housekeeping. I was even asked at the front desk( and was even noted) if I want our room to be cleaned. The property location was excellent with a beautiful view of the harbor. Would stay here again.
