Yet another excellent stay at Wingate by Wyndham by the Orlando Airport! Clean, quiet, and comfortable as always! I did use the free airport shuttle twice this time, and like everything at this property it was excellent! All the staff here are friendly and welcoming and go the extra mile. There are multiple restaurants within a 10 minute walk, and a small store at the front desk with some food, snacks, and drinks. I was also able to use the pool for the first time during this stay and while a bit on the small side, it was perfectly clean, the water was crystal clear, and the lounge chair was so comfortable I almost took a nap! The pool was also stocked with plenty of clean towels for guests. The only minor negative that I can be picky about is I don’t care for the small walk in shower, and it doesn’t have a shelf to put your shampoo and soap on. Maybe it’s just the room choice I chose that only has this shower? Again don’t let this minor negative deter you from this wonderful property. It’s just a minor inconvenience to me.

Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. Nearby Orlando Int. Airport (MCO) & offers great complimentary airport shuttle service. Drivers were friendly & trip schedule was very convenient with multiple trips running early to late. 24/7 Coffee & hot chocolate station scored big with us! Within walking distance to general store, restaurants, and delicious Cuban food truck. Also free golf cart shuttle available by general store to drive you back to hotel if desired (Tip for driver encouraged). Would be first choice to stay if visiting again!

I didn’t love this hotel at all and likely wouldn’t stay here again. It felt and looked very dirty to me, and the room smelled old and funky, and was incredibly outdated. I felt uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. Upon arrival the guest service staff were not friendly. We arrived from our cocoa beach shuttle early and mentioned we understood that check in wasn’t until later but wondered if there was a chance we could get a room earlier. The staff immediately declined and with a rude tone. She was not very welcoming at all, did not greet us or make eye contact. It was a bit strange and awkward.
There are lots of airport hotels in the vicinity, I’d look to stay elsewhere.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here at the Wingate. We arrived at the hotel early on our check-in day and the hotel held our luggage while we went to Universal for the day. The room was spacious and the beds were nicely made. Dove products in the bathroom. We were also impressed by the selections at breakfast, and really appreciated the gluten free muffins.
