Wingate by Wyndham Dallas Love Field

I booked this hotel because of the amenities. The gym, the free breakfast, the pool, the refrigerator, the light up mirror & the convenience/location. I was highly disappointed. At check-in, the gentleman at the front desk told me that I could not use the pool or hot tub because it was after hours. The highway is directly next to this hotel & there is no soundproofing whatsoever. I asked if he could put me in a far away room from the highway. I was in room 324. When I got into my room, I turned the bathroom light on and the mirror did not light up whatsoever so I went to grab the phone to call the front desk but the phone was completely unplugged & dissembled. The floor was warped & bubbled up due to previous water damage. It smelled like marijuana in the hallway on the 3rd floor. The smoke alarm in the hallway went off at 12:23 AM. It stopped within 5 minutes. I did poke my head out. I still heard road noise & trucks on the highway so I put ear plugs in to try to sleep. Then cane the morning & I went downstairs to go work out & the gym had a maintenance sign on it & said it was closed. I decide to have some breakfast, there’s another sign right by the breakfast saying you cannot take food to your room. I wasn’t ready to eat yet & it was 8:50am & they stop serving breakfast at 9am. This is absurd! I’m not a child. I’m a paying customer. I asked for the manager‘s business card & I was handed a piece of paper with a generalized email address.

This was the worse stay I’ve ever had. The hot tub did not work the first night, the gym was not working. Our bathroom toilet kept backing up and all they did was bring a plunger. Our bathroom sink also leaked and when we tried to talk to the front desk we were told there is not maintenance person on staff for the weekend and there was not available rooms to move us too. Not worth any money and I ended up not even staying at the hotel the last night.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean

I was so disappointed in the way the jet tub looked and the fact that I couldn’t use the gun because it was under construction

Spend just a little more and stay somewhere else This poor hotel is gross and online pics are extremely inaccurate Beds are so uncomfortable But my neighbors enjoyed their room from 2:30 to 4:30 am , nice thin walls between rooms Breakfast was on par with hotel Powder eggs, not sure what the bacon was, about 6 yogurt cups, some bread, cereal and a gallon of milk in a mini fridge Good news, the dining area looks in to the pool area The pool….. Gross gross gross I can only imagine the virus you would come home with from that water Piles of dirty used towels and completely neglected The positives: check in was nice. The man who checked us in was very helpful and accommodating Do not waste your money, it is seriously a complete sh*t hole

The front seat guy was rude the room was not clean…sticky residue everywhere… sheets wasn’t clean and charged a hefty deposit for the low quality room also the cable was trash and outdated remote

The hotel room and breakfast were standard, but the experience was terrible because the employees didn't seem to care about their guests' comfort. 1 - the towels smelled bad. All of them. When I told the front desk person, he shrugged. Didn't apologize or offer any solutions. 2 - the airport pick up experience rattled me; the driver was rude. Guests need to call to set up a pick up time, and the person gave directions on where to meet the driver. The instructions were terrible (talking about stairs when there wasn't stairs, there was a ramp), and so I was running around the airport looking for the driver. The driver didn't pick up his phone, and I kept missing his calls. So when I arrived 5 min late, the driver yelled at me for being late. I told him I was doing my best to find him and to please not be rude. I would not stay here again. There are other affordable hotels in the area - take my advice - stay at one of those.

Older but nice property- only thing didn’t like was hot tub was luke warm not hot

Staff was very rude. It was 3 of us booked for the stay. They only allowed us 1 face towel. Housekeeping walked in the room as if she was apart of our guest.

The hotel had a weird smell everywhere. The rooms were clean, but housekeepers did not come to clean the first day. The booking was for 3 people, but the towels and toiletry were for 2 only. I would have let all of this slide, but what really got me is the front office staff. On checkout day, I went to see them to ask for a short extension for the checkout. All I needed was an hour and they wanted to charge me $45, which is almost a half day’s charge. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere else. Usually I’d get the extension or be told that it is not available.
