Nice place easily accessible

Went for a baseball tournament. There are signs everywhere that the property is being renovated- which we understand. When I went in to check in the woman - I did not catch her name, was extremely rude. When we got to our room it was a single king- we needed a double bed. So, I went back down to switch our room.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, and that’s understandable. But it still was not clean. The lobby smelled of stale smoke. The room was full of dust. The bedding looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Old toilets were near the dumpsters outside of our room. It was so bad, my sister and I canceled the second day of our stay.

They need to finish renovating the property, instead of allowing people stay in rooms that clearly needs renovation. I was moved from one room because the air was cold and it wouldn't turn up, into another room where the ceiling is scary, among other things.

The room was horrible. The carpet was pass dirty, it needs to be clean asap. I wouldnt want nobody to stay in a room with carpet that bad. I was so disappointed and forgot to take pictures of the floor. The walls was so dirty, the room needs to be repainted before another customer stays in that room. The bathroom door is not working properly, and the room door is the same way. I had to put a table behind the door to feel a lil more safe with locking the door. Please fix these things because if not your rating will continue to go down. Also the company needs to order more towels. I left for breakfast and the housekeeper came in the room and gathered all the towels and when I asked for more towels she told my son I had to wait because they didnt have none clean!!!!!!! remind you I was already in the shower waiting for towels. So I had to wait in the shower til the hosuekeeper found me 2 towels ONLY... Not having clean towels for guest is just crazy. Hotel please do better.....

The curtains were torn, open thresh hold in the doorway to the bathroom. The upholstered furniture was dirty, the sheet was torn, the hallways were dirty, and most of the furniture’s in the rooms were old and outdated.

If you are bougie, pick a different hotel. For the rest of you.. The hotel is being worked on, so there was lots of dust and construction in the hallway. The hallway smells bad, the carpet is ripped up and raggedy. Our room was basic, it did appear clean, except for the carpet, which got our feet filthy. The smoke detector was covered in plastic and taped up. The bathroom needed remodled. The hot water was nice for showers. The beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was great. The apple juice machine needed cleaned, the juice was watered down and smelled sour. The black lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful, the owners... not so much. The pool was closed, that was very aggravating.

Our room was apparently on the list to be remodeled. The smoke detector was wrapped in plastic, the carrier was stained, the walls needed painting, there wasn’t a tissue holder in the bathroom, the bathroom door looked like it had been in a flood as it was swelled and splitting on the bottom. Overall very disappointed with our stay there. I understand remodeling, but don’t put guests in a room you’re prepping for work.

It was not cleaned, it was nasty. Please be mindful when booking

The room was not good at all the air quality/breathing was horrible I'm allergic to dogs and cats therefore, I believe based on my breathing, eye irritation and itching that it may have come from some sort of animal with a combination of dirty and nasty looking carpet. I did let the front desk know of my concerns because I had to go out into the lobby as well as the outside (I came to the hotel to escape the storm for that night with my family) to breath clean air. I was only there until around 7am the next morning after the storm I could not stay until 11am for regular checkout.

They are in the process of updating the property. It is a perfectly adequate place to stay but it is still a hotel with a common hall and the occasional inconsiderate guest.

We needed a place to stay overnight while driving from Texas to Maryland. The hotel is fine. It is a bit aged and could use an update, e.g. changing the carpets. However, it is clean and the staff is friendly.

Stay was average to below. I say this because we had to figure out that two light bulbs were burnt out and then after we had been out and were tired and getting in bed, learned that our heater in room did not work. We were provided with another same room and had the engineer check heater before we moved all our things. This property is very dated and they will begin a partially remodeling soon. Found trash on floors in room so just had not been vacuumed and cleaned as well as expected. Service from 2 out of 3 staff members was great.

I love the overall environment, cleanest & comfort of our room.. the location was great
